No offence, but it really doesn't seem like much was done, a hard light blurred layer, a motion blur and a lense flare and some text... doesn't seem that maniped to me.... however that snowy slope is fucking sexy. I just spent the week snowboarding and would love to try that mountain, it's sexy as.

I was guessing a motion blur layer. and for the shine a Gausian Blurred-Lighten layer.

Yeh, I don't like that random pattern I threw on there at the end... but the idea is some evil necromancer is calling up a really powerful storm to make this icy place bad and dark and evil, but those people walking up are there to stop him, so they are turning it back to blue and icy as they walk....

Yeh, alot of detail was lost when I lowered the size to upload it faster.... they had footprints in the snow and everything.... *tear*

"Deep maroon embedded the mountain in it's embrace... The sky alive with dancing colours bending to the will of Nura, his spells enveloping the skies and earth in their traps... conjuring fire, to defy gravity and launch into the sky, molten ash raining from high scars in the mountain.
The lava flow took twisting paths down the mountain, melting snow and rock in it's wake, the heat digging trenches on it's own.
The heat was intense, it seemed to be reaching to them not just from the eruption of the mountain but from under their feet and from the skies itself, it seeped to their bones, eerily chilling them with an overwealming heat.
Farin walked the furthest ahead, his aura appeared to repair the land to it's original beauty as he took each step, his muscles craving for rest after the journey, however, only halfway up the mountain he pushed them to hang on, continue. PS: Is it just me or there are no people in that picture. Sorry, I was never good at the "Where's Waldo" type things.

In the original there are no people in the picture, in mine, they are the little black dots in the bottom right in a trail going up the mountain... (You have clicked it to enlarge it right?)

Lol, what happened was...

Hmm, a castle would look cool up on the hill....

Hmm, the castle is lonely, it needs some people walking up to it, with Uber footsteps (the detail of which was lost)

How will the people get up there, it's very steep, I'll give them some stairs...

The sky is pretty boring, I'm going to google to find a storm.

Hmm, this storm is quite scary and dark, and it looks like it's focusing over the castle, I can work with that... add a few layers of Hard Light etc. and it started to look pretty uber.

The mountain is boring now, but a volcano would be cool... *Makes lame volcano*

A volcano needs things shooting out the top, and lots of lava flowing down the mountain...

Hmm, the mountain is blue, but the sky is red, a few extra layers, some Hue+Saturation and overlays soon fixed that.


All the while I was imagining a story to go along with it.

I just took random cloud pictures from Google. And the Spaceship is made from the front end of a Dodge Viper and the lil stump underneath it is a Piston. Then I just added lights.

That looks great,but the only thing that is noticeble
is the blured part around the hood or what looks like a blur.
It still looks pretty awesome though.

My vette got locked for wrong thread...SOoooooooooo...

My main goal was to BURY this thing. Nothing like the perfect ride height. Didn't want to get insane with rims :P (you don't buy a 2007 Z06 and put aftermarket rims on it!...I mean you could, but...the rims make the car).

Didn't change the color...I'm a big fan of the yellow, thought it was perfect. goes with the coastline setting. Speaking of setting - I plan on doing some drastic... changing the location entirely. Whatev...we'll see what the weekend brings. My main goal was get to cut it down, and a couple minor style points.

Before on top, After on the bottom.
BTW; This isn't my car obviously - I've had people attack me on other forums for acting like I was acting as if this was mine . Nowhere have I said I own it, I just list the 'mods' like they're real because it sounds cooler.

Changes;
- Tinted windows
- Shaved handles
- Painted calipers
- Removed red glare from original calipers, from the rim
- Removed blinkers
- Put a plate on it
- Misc. touch ups and color/shadow correction
- DROPPED!

Like Chip Foose says... "The greatest compliment I could ever get about one of my cars is 'What'd you do to it'... because that tells me that my integration was so smooth, you can't even notice it. You have to go over it piece by piece."

Also, I'm not saying you said this but, to anyone who thinks "All you did was select the body and hit the down arrow key like 5 times."

Wrong. Take the stock picture and try it. Dropping cars at certain angles is NO JOKE. You've got to extend things, cut things, hide things, etc. A lot of rooks don't realize that.
