Filtered the SkyBox and now we're getting that consistently. After 2 weeks, a new BeBox (router), and lots of frustration, I finally have decent internet! Woooo.
According to the BE engineer I'm talking to, I should be getting 11-12mpbs, but I'll look into that later.

o fair enough, ive always just used it in AE. and after effects is much easier to do effects and **** in, but I would definitely compile the footage as a whole in vegas or whatever.
also I would strongly recomend a filter of some kind. depending on the mood you are trying to create, it adds a lot to a piece and makes it look a lot more professional. is it going to be gritty, or is it going to be gamourised (like bad boys) for the former id use a grey/silver filter and for the latter maybe like a faint sepia or just an orange/gold one (to give it that sunny miami look- all of csi miami is done with a filter)

I hate to admit it but I'm getting bored of FIFA. The mechanics and that are right but the AI... gosh. The game is so easy once you learn the AI. Seriously tempted to get PES 2011 as I've heard that despite not being as fluid, it really captures a more unpredictable nature of football which sounds sweet :p

hey brit guys i wanted to know if anyone knows how one(one being me a foreign national) can join one of Britain's fine universities ? & also when does an academic year for a British school end/begin(because i'll probably have to apply according to that i'm guessing.) any help will be much appreciated :)

ok academic year in Britain is september to abot july (thats for schools) uni is different. but its still similar. (its more end of September beginning of October depending on the uni) and teaching finishes in about april/may time. and then exams till about june.
although i had to have my application for this uni in at about january of last year (to start in october)
as for fees. i cant tell you how much they will be for international students becuase of the rise the british student has. it used to be about 10k a year. BUT its going to be near that for EU students so your could be like 13 14 or 15k.
as for actually applying. we had this thing called UCAS. but im guessing that is for uk students only. have you tried google ?
next time im on campus ill go to the vp for international students and ask her how they apply.

well i've tried googling it but i just get confused after 10 minutes of following a link or two for some reason , also the fact that i don't really know much about which is the best uni in which stream doesn't help.
i'll give googling another go lets see if i get my answers , let me know what you find out if you get time :)

EDIT: at a school near mine there was a rumour that this girl had slept with her teacher. he was fired but she was over 16 so it wasnt statutory rape. anyway about a year down the line, my mate was at said schools sixth form for one of his lessons that he did there. and he got talking to this girl in the library, he thought things were going pretty well etc, they were both flirting. anyway, she says, "oh you might recopgnise me" he was like "o whys thats" she then replied "remember last year that teacher was shagging a pupil" my mate was like "yeah ?" and she just smiled and nodded. cant remember if he ever got her number or anything, but its still a pretty cool story.
