Just watched it. Totally lost the plot of the cartoon. Very disappointed.

I thought GI Joe was the name of the doll before that movie came out..turns out it is the name of a team...WTF!? That is like calling a team Dave..not Team Dave, just Dave..:snicker
I thought it was a god-awful movie with a crappy plot and unoriginal action scenes. I mean really, how many times have we seen that same training/recruitment montage?

I thought it felt like it was too much action.
well hey at least it had a super hot babe(sienna miller) dressed up all in black.
gave me some good wood!

The amazing CGI killed it for me.

I saw it a couple of weeks back on a really good bootlegged copy. It was indeed bad, but at first I wasn't sure why I thought it was bad. Then I noticed they were using blow-dryers as guns and the "main" antagonist sounds like he's been constipated for 20 years. Only snake can pull that off.
The acting, story and CGI all worked together to make this film one of the worst films this year.

LOL I actually kind of enjoyed it. I mean I went in with SUPER low expectations. I mean it certainly wasn't as bad as TF2. I mean even IMAX couldn't save that film.

On the bright side after 2012, I think I'll enjoy G.I. Joe now.

Btw, I think IMAX on a TV for TF2 kinda works. It's when its on an IMAX size theater screen is where the hurt comes in. Anyway, just throwing it out there.

Oh I avoided 2012! IMAX on a TV isn't IMAX LOL! Though the 1080p IMAX version looks SEXY AS ALL HELL!

I agree though, IMAX on TV is a TV version of conventional theater IMAX that's just a slightly bigger movie screen. Funny that that disappointment is actually a benefit for TF2. However, as you say it's still very "SEXY".
GI Joe was terrible. TF2 was actually more entertaining and it was only a notch up from punching yourself in the jimmy for two hours.

Yeah, it's pretty terrible, but expecting that, i class it as just 'watchable'. The most annoying thing was the 'witty' dialogue. Oh dear, it tried to be funny and cool - but failed miserably.
IMO both GI-J and TF2 were average. I think I enjoyed GI-J more but I am not sure tbh. lol
In TF2 at a point I had difficulty staying awake. Which was either that I was tired or the predictability of the script. Maybe both.
I have higher hopes for the PoP movie.

I haven't seen TF2 myself but I have to say, I was struggling to keep my eyes open during some parts of GI Joe... some point after the story got totally incomprehensible.
