Are any of these confirmed Blake? Just curious because if they are confirmed then I will mention them on the site. Could you give me the URL of where you got the Info. If you can that would be really great.
Apparently this was announced at E3, however I did get this off another message board. Im looking for info on gamespot and IGN as I type this.

have any of u seen the white version?
il look for a link and post it later maybe
cant wait for metal gear acid and GT4 port and a wipeout and ridge racer, in fact i cant wait for a lot of psp games.
ok on the specs front Sony confirmed that it will have 32MB main memory and another 4MB which is prob for the VRAM (plus a few other bits not worth saying). and so that is the same as the ps2 as rumours suggested earlier in the year
battery life is 2.5hours for UMD movies, 10Hours for music and well it varies allot for gameplay but prob will be mainly 4-8hours im guessing (it depends on UMD usage in game)
UPDATE - sony annoucnes that the psp developer suport has grown to 99 developers and that currently 45 japanese games are beeing made for the psp

Spain v Russia was a good match! :)
*cough spam cough*
why dont we keep on topic ok?
Jeez not everthing's spam GU! I can comment on a football match if I like... E3's over so it's not like it's a travesty for me to talk about something else. If your implying that I care about my post count your sadly mistaken. Welcoming a football fan, is like welcoming a gaming fan to me so be carefull!
Every thread goes off topic a bit, it's nothing surprising. As long as it's not consistant spam then it doesnt matter. Also look at a persons posting history before you make those comments, I mean if Morph went off topic alot then yea I would call what he said an annoyance. In this case it wasnt.
And as for post count, I stopped giving a flip at about 250-300 myself. I never even look at my post count, Im sure Morph is the same way.

are those diffrent cover or are those the actual psp :?
Now I can't wait for the PSP. I'll definitley get FFVII-AC for it! I've never owned a handheld and this is the first one that has ever really appealed to me!

I dont see the point in getting a movie for the PSP, when I can watch it on a 48 inch TV screen if I get it on DVD. Plus theres no chance of the battery running out while im watching it on a DVD player.
BTW will there be a different price for DVD and UMD format.
PeanutButterMunky
12-03-2004, 23:15
If it's not cheaper, I'll be very pissed. I don't think there's any official prices on UMD discs yet. And I'm sure they'll vary, just like every other game/movie out there...

yah but can you bring your 48" tv with you on car/plane trips?
oh and i do hope to that the UMD's will be cheaper than dvd's.As well do i hope that there will be a wide variety of title to choose from
I think that UMD's or whatever you called them (if you mean PSP format movies) will be more expensive! Technically, it is for a game console and those type of things are like sometimes $80 at starting price! But, I do think that they will be more expensive than usual, like at $50. And for the DVD it'll probably be more expensive than standard DVD's like at $35-$40. And I'm Canadian so I'm not sure how this would apply to the rest of you!
Crimson_King
12-16-2004, 17:06
i think what she is trying to say for us amricans that the game will be around 40 bucks and the movies 20-25
That's just my guesstimate!
Crimson_King
12-17-2004, 15:42
well thats was my educated guess but yours was also in funny money(canadian).lol jking. just on the side do you like hockey chels?i personaly like the montreal canadians
i never like hockey until it gets to the final nhl stanley cup playoffs, but i prefer detroit red wings (and they're american!) but... i guess my next one would be the ottawa senatars i think they're called! but i have no idea who the new players are! all i know is ed balfour, but my favorite was paul coffee!!! that's about all i know! are you a huge hockey fan, or are you more like me?
Crimson_King
12-17-2004, 17:21
I'm more of a huge hockey fan. and as I said before i like the Montreal Canadians, and im american lol. but yah this lockout is killing me(NO hockey). oh well things r getting closer to there being a season. but yah u had the teams wrong although u spelled Belfour wrong. what providence u from btw?

should this thread really be a sticky? i think you should switch this thread with the PSP Vs. DS thread since E3 passed already and people are comparing the two handhelds
PeanutButterMunky
01-23-2005, 00:30
I agree...this thread is REALLY outdated. It's no longer a sticky.
FmanFORPS3
01-23-2005, 01:37
since right now were a little off topic i want to suggest :
1) locking up the thread "PSP Vs. DS" that i made
2) making the thread "PSP Vs. Nintendo DS Poll" a sticky (the one that evo made)
the second one is your choice but i dont see why there are two Vs. threads (when i made it i looked for a vs thread but couldnt find one, turns out i just missed the one that was already there)
Here it is:
PS3 circuit boards manufactured in July
Sony has ordered circuit boards for the upcoming console from a Taiwanese company called COMPEQ. The company has not released any information on when production will start but a source says that production will start in June or July which reinforces the rumors of a PS3 release date at the end of the year.
It is not the first time COMPEQ will work in conjunction with Sony. The company is already working on various parts for the portable game console (PSP) and hopefully the company will be able to build enough circuit boards to meet the high demand for the next generation console.
This might prove to increase PS3 sales as this means that the PS3 will be released during the Christmas season and if Sony has learned from Microsoft’s mistakes they will release a lot of consoles right before Christmas to increase hype and sales during the holiday season.
