Welcome to the Boards Tako. Thanks for the cool picture, I think PSP looks really nice. This is typical Sony - They've made PSP smooth and sleek and with a design that isn't just for kids, they clearly want the adult market as well. Hopefully they can keep the price down though. This just looks leaps ahead of N-Gage and other handheld devices, and the fact that it is going to be able to play Final Fantasy Advent Children really impresses me.

Thanks. I'm also impressed but I'm still worried of what it might cost.

Wow!, that is much better looking than the original concept. I dont even know what to say, like morph said this is a very sleek looking desighn and perfect for the oldercrowd. Now I wont feel redicoulous if Im playing this thing in public. Price could be an issue though, so I look forward to that announcement.

Sony's meeting, originally leaked by Koei CEO Kiyoshi Komatsu, will be open to media analysts when it begins tomorrow.

The meeting to be held in Tokyo had been intended for software licensees.

Sony Computer Entertainment officially announced 'The PS Business Briefing 2006', which will begin at 3:00pm Tokyo time (6:00am GMT) on 15 March.

A Sony spokesperson refused to give further details, but it is expected that the PlayStation 3 will be present in some form. It's also believed there may be some PlayStation 2 and PSP surprises.

The event comes exactly one week before Phil Harrison gives a keynote speech specifically about the PlayStation 3 at the Game Developers Conference. Many believe that Sony will finally announce launch and price details, after a number of analysts created a stir predicting extremely high costs and a delayed release of the next generation console.

Sony has remained adamant that the PlayStation 3 is on track for a Spring 2006 launch, as announced back in May last year at E3. We may find out for sure within the next week. Stay tuned!
