What model 360 should i get? I sold my old 20g pro a year and half ago because the 360 hit a dry patch of games for me. I want to get back into halo before reach comes out and want to go back and play games like alan wake.
Wireless is not a problem for me as the router is in my bedroom next to where the console will be, so i will just plug in an ethernet cord as it usually increases the speed anyway.
Without the need for wireless and 250gb being a lot of unneccessary memory for me.
I was wondering if the elite is just at good because i can get a used one for $199 at gamestop and save me money. Is 120gb elite the best model for me or should i go with a different model?

Wait for the new Arcade Slim later in 2010 imo, has 4GB USB stick included too and will come very cheap, 149 euro in Europe

This is why he doesn't want to get a slim guys,so if your in a hurry,you can buy the elite now,or wait a bit and buy the cheap slim later,as labwarrior said.But from your post,it seems that elite is the right model for you.

Lol i cant wait to see the tthreads of people arguing that you should still be able to buy the old 360 becuase you don't need the wireless or the bigger hard drive, after all the flack the 360 got for not having a wireless adapter. Just a joke
i still think you should hold out and get the arcade slim as it looks set to be great! for cheap too
.... it seems like you dont really need slim at all
Just get old model arcade for 150 dollars while the discount lasts

Obviously he doesn't want to pay the extra 100$ that slim cost.Since he already said he doesn't care for the extra features.Btw i think that new slim is ugly (and i would buy it only cause of the better motherboard) but thats just me lol

Get the one that dosent break and have a higher failure rate then toyta vehicles oh wait there isnt one yet i would wait for the next xbox or get a ps3/wii

The old model 360's are going really cheap. Alot of people are selling their 360's for next to nothing to upgrade to the new slim. Bargains aplenty just look around before you decide. Don't see the point of the new slim apart from Kinect and its delicious looks.

If you can. Some stores still have the splinter cell bundle. its an awsome deal if you dont need the wireless. Its the game, 250gb, and an extra controler for $350. Def a big savings especialy if you gonna have friends over.

Nah i don't pay for live,i don't even play online games anyway.Only Psn cause its free lol
but the slim it has a 250 gig hard drive and smaller chips runs cooler.. i wish that there where more 360 games i liked
because i would get rid of my 60 gig and buy a slim lol

I may just go for an elite because it is the model that seems decent enough. Do all elite models have the jasper chip that is suppose to run cooler?

I'm sure they do by now, especially if you buy it from a big store that doesn't stock systems for long.
