nah.... that lady just lives in the real world where she's not living on forums getting constant up-dates on what's the best tech.

also, i think she shows one of the hurdles that Sony will face with Move.

she will go into a shop (like many family's in the coming months), see Move as Sony's answer to Wii and will not understand that Move will offer more accurate game play. at the same time she will see Kinect and its lack of a controller and will accept it as a new way to play what looks to be fun games for her and the family.

The video with augmented reality is probably the best 1:1 example I've seen.

Looking good. All I want to see is a line-up of games to play with!

I think the lady asked real questions by real people, aka people who don't read on forums about this stuff and Dr.Marks answered as well as he can for the short time the thing lasted.
Personnaly, i would have shown "start the party" as it's one of the easiest games to get into and a great show off of what makes the Move different than Wii.

Appreciate the list. Unfortunately, I've had a look through it and can only see a handful of games that I'm interested in.

Where are the real games!?

Lol.

Like what? I don't know what you mean by real games. Some use that phrase to mean games built from the ground up for move, whilst others mean hardcore games.

I'm talking about the larger titles. For example:

inFamous 2
Heavy Rain
Killzone 3
Resident Evil 5
LittleBigPlanet 2

Ya' know - 'big' games.

Sorcery is a large title. SOCOM and MAG are large titles. Its not a bad line up at the moment. I'd go as far as to say there are more than 10 games I'll be getting/playing using Move. I imagine Uncharted 3 will be using Move too.

See it can be looked either way.

She can do that or she can think that PS3 is just a better Wii with Blu-ray and netflix. She might be afraid to try something new. Wii is known and if someone wanted a Wii, she can easily argue against it by getting the Move with PS3 because it's similar.

People don't always try new things. Especially casuals, they go with the flow.

Theres an even better video floating around where they 1:1 a 3D move graphic over the move to show that no matter what it's always correct.

This is pretty much how people are going to see the Move, which is why I don't think it will sell well. People are going to wonder why they should spend $300 to get a PS3/Move if the Wii can do pretty much the same thing.

I felt bad for Marks in this interview honestly, I didn't get the feeling that it was a good showing. Nothing went wrong techwise, but she didn't seem into it and they showed table tennis, which is already on the Wii. The only good part of the whole interview was when she swung the "paddle" and seemed surprised on how you actually had to swing it, but then she turned right back and didn't bother with it. It just seemed so... dull.

Hopefully Sony will get more chances to show this thing off properly to the masses.

That wasnt a great showing and she didnt look to excited. You could tell they didnt have alot of time allocated for it. Seems like they were rushing through it.

Exactly. It was cool for the tight schedule they were obviously on.

True but it does help with getting the word out in any case. Then again, these kinds of "media showings" rarely have enough time allocated for this kind of thing. Always a wham bam thank you ma'am kind of affair. (no offense to the ma'ams out there)

Thing that was interesting about this is that the ping pong game was the PERFECT game go show how this was different than Wii... You can't just flick your wrist to hit it...

Anyone who just thinks "wii sports" will have a rude awakening when they realize how much they actually suck at ping pong.
