View Full Version : The Start/Select buttons on the Move.
Does anyone know how to use these "properly?"
I can't press Start without rotating the controller in my hand first to hit it with my thumb. What am I doing wrong? Do you use the side of your index finger?
I just rotate it or take my finger off the T button & press it, I got no probz
now the select button is a different story thou...
I just use my thumb and it reaches both buttons fine.

Index finger for start button and thumb for select button.
Either thumb for both, or Kingpins way, work fine for me.

I also use my thumb. I'm kinda glad that They are a little hard to reach, its better than me accidentally pressing them. I barely need to pause anyway, so its all good :D
Yeah I really don't think I could come up with a better place for them, but something about the placement is hard for me to get to. It's not like they are the most common buttons but it makes me think of pulling up the scoreboard in Socom to see how many people are left alive or things like that. Not a huge deal, just wondering if I was just holding the controller wrong or something.

Thumb for the select, and then struggle for the start. Shocking placement.
It should be just above the move button, both of them next to each other.
Oh and, just use the PS button to pause, much easier!
Aphetically its a pile of ****, the O,X,triangle and square buttons are to far up too.
(^Spell check that one) lol

LOL This is actually what I did a few times today and will most likely just continue to do
Reminds me of how I debated with myself how I could be using the Z button on the N64 when I was 8 and had a cast.

I don't know what you were trying to say with that word. Closest definitions I could find using the root word, Aphesis:

I think you meant aesthetically? Which would only refer to visual appeal. Maybe you meant ergonomically? Which refers to the tool being designed in order to prevent injury after prolonged use.
