Man after playing these 2 games with 2 moves makes it suck when I have to play 2 players and use 1. Has anyone else felt the urge to buy 2 more move remotes because of this? Is the fight going to be 2 players?

I'm seriously trying to hold off the urges to buy 2 more but I can't help it lol

My roommate and I almost went right back to the store to each buy another Move after playing gladiator with 2 of them. We've settled on waiting for now and just borrowing each others'. But wow we want to fight each other so bad

Sort of, but not. I didn't try gladiator with a single Move, but my roomate and I played Archery. It's ridiculously easier with a single Move controller. Which is good because it's only quick draw.

Agreed, I have two move controllers and playing archery is easier and I find it better with the one.

Archery was hella easier with one move, but more realistic with two, I only taught two matches of gladiator before I hopped in the car and grabbed another move to play it with, it's so much better. I'd like 2 more moves but I cannot justify that purchase right now, and I think my ps3 is full of Bluetooth capabilties, they seriously need to update it from 7-10

Yeah, i've only got two move controllers at the moment and think i'll pickup another two soon since i can't vs my partner properly on Gladiator.

Also was planning on having some mates come over on Saturday night so will need extra controllers then in order to show it off properly...

That's what im thinking. If the fight is 2 players, me and my friend will play it allot. Hmmmm what to do lol

Archery with one is fine... I don't like Gladiator with only one though.

2 controllers each to play the Gladiator battle?

Get two big foam sticks, two dustbin lids, go into the garden and go mental.....

...oh, wait. I could have done the same with my Bocce opponent the other day!!!

But you won't get any trophies from the foam sticks and dustbin lids!!

Can you only sync 7 devices at once, or only have 7 devices connected at once? I know the connection is a hardware limitation, but synchronization should be software.

How does gladiator work anyway, similar to swordplay on the Wii; when holding trigger you're controlling the shield and the sword stays idol?

Good, then it's not that big of a deal. Realistically there's no situation where you'd need to have 7 connected at once.

Edit: Err wait. Does the nav controller connect via wireless through a move controller... or sync directly to the PS3?

The Nav is a separate connection.

So no 4 player games requiring 2 Moves each or Move+Nav.

Bump. I can't get the hang of Gladiator Duel with 2 Moves. Is it left Move button to strafe left and right Move for right? And Both for back? Because I am having trouble stepping back.
See, i'm used to only having 1 Move where left and right are triangle and square while Move button is back. 1 button = 1 action.
Now it seems I have to press 2 buttons to attempt to pull off 1 task (Stepping back) and I'm having difficulty.

Do the tutorials. Then you wouldn't have to wake this old thread up.

Worst part is he didn't even answer my question properly. Of course i've read the tutorials.

When I bought the move system, I purchased an extra controler, so I would have two, as I mostly play on my own.

I can't imagine Archery with only 1 controler, I can see Gladiator Duel with 1.

Maybe I'll give it a shot, just to see what it's like.

i find archery to be near impossible at the end of the silver cup. am i just too damn slow?

Internet tough guys....gotta love 'em! If you had made a new thread for this question, he would have gotten you even worse! And you'd cry!

haha anyway, I feel your pain. I have actually only played Gladiator with 2 Moves, but I've always felt like the backstep doesn't function when I want it to. Pressing the 2 buttons at once leads to me strafing to the side more often than it does to the back.

But if it is as Grinchy thinks, that you just strafe when you press both move buttons, it's because they have to be pressed exactly at the same time. I apologize if this is the case, but I didn't understand it from what you wrote.

Sorry if I sounded rude; it wasn't my purpose. Maybe I should add a tongue smiley next time. :P

I also have difficulty stepping back with 2 Moves. I'm pressing them at the same time - best as I can tell - but I still end up strafing.
There's much less errors playing with only 1 Move.

I believe the issues lies with the time gap they leave you. Because they want you to have a fast responsive left and right strafe when you press either of the buttons the action takes place leaving no time for the game to look for both being pressed even if they are.

Archery is fantastic with 2 Moves. I actually found it less tiring pulling off the full actions instead of holding 1 arm out for extended periods while I aimed.

In Bronze Tic, Tac, Toe was kinda lame. But when you move into Silver you actually have to think about where to place the shot it's pretty damn good. Speed is key, if you get good enough you can basically have the controller on target while you pull back reducing arrow load times because the CPU can spam shots crazy fast.

My only complain using 2 Moves is that my arms with controllers block my view at times
