Are there enough decent games out on it right now to justify the purchase?

What games are there right now? (Other than Sports Championship, I know of that)

What about the future?

Only interested in family-oriented games, I'll probably figure out all the core ones myself :D

The only game that comes on top of my head is Start the Party. Its like a game from the ps2 games of the eye toy.

There is a hair cutting game that seems good for kids and women.

The hair cutting is one of the mini game in Start the Party.
I've only played the demo of it with a couple of my cousins, one is 4 and the other is 6. They both love the game, so if you have children around that age then its a must buy game if your buying move.

I'd say wait few months and see if there is anything good coming out for PS Move.

Just go get it because i know you want it for your self and not your children.;) As far as kids games coming out not sure, but my type of games there will be KILLZONE 3 , inFAMOUS 2, SOCOM 4, RESISTANCE 3. I'm guessing pretty much any new releases will be Move compatible.

Hmm, I guess as others said, best to wait it out.

LOL I know I want it really bad. No children in my house yet...well errr, a baby yes. Basically for my wife right now, she wants LBP2 BADLY and I heard Move works with that. But can you play the game completely with it or just like a little co-op feature (as we saw in a Move demo a long time ago for LBP)?

See the problem is that I'm busy with a game right now, I have no time for the PS3 atm but I thought maybe Move would bring me back for a little. Until Socom comes out or all the other good shooters, I'm probably not going to be using Move...so why get it when I won't even use it? Might as well wait it out and look for deals.

I just didn't know that there weren't many games out for it, didn't even know Move was out! I saw a thread yesterday and that's how I found out lol. You'd think it would've made a bigger blast. I guess it makes sense cause there really aren't many games for it yet. Or I would've heard about it, which is why I was trying to make sure that I wasn't just out of the loop...oh well. Definitely a buy but will have to wait.

I just love the fact that now I can get anyone to play the console with me, even if they don't understand standard controllers...Move looks to be easy as pie.

Me and my girlfriend love Sports Champions and played the Start the Party demo on friday night. Great fun. (and my girl hates video games!)

Bought Resi Evil 5 Move but not tried it yet

i had fun with it...... but there aren't enough games out that utilize it at the moment.

I'd wait.... but you decide not to you'll definitely have some fun either way....

Yeah i think it's worth it. Me and my family are having a blast with it, so Far we love Sports Champion and High velocity Bowling. I love resident evil 5.

I admit that Sony could have done a better job with their launch line up but on the flip side after spending over 300 bucks for my games and setup i'm kind of glad they didn't. I can't imagine how much more it would cost me if they had 2 or 3 AAA games with this launch.

My girlfriend hates gaming with a passion. She had an ex that spent more time playing WoW then he did talking to her. Why am I telling you this? Well, she played Sportschamps last weekend with me and loved it...loved it so much that SHE INSISTED we stay in last night and play it again. I then installed Start the Party and Eyepet Demos and you will never guess what happened today!!!!!.....on her way home she bought Eyepet...seriously...she bought Eyepet for my PS3 cause she loved it so much that when she comes out again this week she can play the full game. It is the first time she has ever bought a game for anything. She loves herself some MOVE!

I say wait until next year. It's always slow after launch which is to be expected.

Part of me says get it now while you can because you know the holidays are going to make it that much harder and I'm pretty sure more family oriented titles will be out by then. Part of me says wait because no doubt you'll probably find some really good deals on Move+software as the holidays get closer, but it being the holidays there is also the risk you might miss out if there is a run on it.

There is more than enough good family based content to go get it now. Waiting will not change that and the price of move will not come down by any serious amount.

Get it now, play the games that are out now - there are a few and, seriously, do you spend so much time playing video games that All of sports champions, Start the party, Mini Golf and The shoot (Just 4 games off the top off my head) are not enough until newer games come out?

Just bite the bullet and get it now.

There really is no point in waiting. Playstation move will still be playstation move in 3 months time.

Due to work and baby I do not get a huge amount of time to game but I have not played a game using a DS since I got move. SC, HR and RE5 have been keeping more than occupied.

If you have another game on the go then I would defo recommend sports champion as you can dip in and out when you want. When I only have five minutes spare I can get a couple of games of table tennis in. Only problem is I want to keep playing it which gets me in trouble with tut wife!

Oh yea, didn't think about that. I have that game! My wife likes the game too.

But the question remains, is it actually easy to make the game with the move?

EDIT: just saw the trailer and that looks ****ing awesome. I might not sell the game until I complete the trophy collection now! I was getting tired of it.

Hmm...don't think this would last very long though.

My girlfriend hates gaming with a passion. She had an ex that spent more time playing WoW then he did talking to her. Why am I telling you this? That's the problem, with some people it sticks...with others, not so much.

It's kind of a dilemma with my wife, she doesn't like mini-games and yet she finds hardcore games to be tough (because of the traditional controller) so you can see what I'm trying to achieve here. A great, complicated game that is supported by Move. Minigames get old quickly.

I say wait until next year. It's always slow after launch which is to be expected.
Damn, I don't think I wanna wait until next year!

Well, I might get it now because I didn't know HR already supported it. I'm in the same boat with you, I know the price isn't going down much and not much will change...just that I don't like buying stuff when I don't need it. I would enjoy the Move but I wanna get it now because I want to get my wife addicted to gaming. Boy I bet you hear that a lot lol.

She'll definitely be hooked if Mario 64: The Sequel came out on PS3 though lol.

I found out Heavy Rain is haha, but Family wise Little Big Planet? that seems too be I think
otherwise just the ones they really promote like start the party eye pet and sports champs etc
Oh yea, I can't wait for LBP2...that's a defo buy with Move...I just want something now! Guess HR will have to do.

Basically I wanna get something that both me and my wife can enjoy...so if she gets tired of it, I might still enjoy the game. Sports Championship seems like we'd both get tired of it soon.

Again, she likes hardcore games (her last game was LBP + Mario 64) but she doesn't like traditional controllers. So it's kind of tough to decide.

I am playing with the PS Move more than any game I own right now. Sports Champions and Start The Party are so much fun. I say get it because it is worth the fun and enjoyment you will get out of it.
I'm sure it will be fun...but I think I'll get Move now, play HR and try out a few demos and see where we go from there, if we like it a lot, we may get it, otherwise, I'm mostly interested in non-mini-games.
