View Full Version : Has anyone else played ONLY move games since it came out?
Ok I have to admit that I had about an hour of Battle Cars (SARB), but other than that I've played nothing but Move-enabled games since I bought Move.
I was heavy into a Fallout 3 file, but I haven't touched it since the colored vibrator landed at my doorstep. I don't necessarily see that changing very soon, either. There are plenty of games I'd like to play that aren't on Move, but at the moment it seems pointless when I could be getting further in my Table Tennis Champions Cup.
And who would have guessed that MAG is one of the most fun PS3 games all of a sudden?
I was pretty bored and was basically just waiting for Gran Turismo to come out, so i've been only playing sports champions. I'm on the asian dude in champions cup in ping pong, so once i beat him (and I guess the robot again?) I'll likely pick up john daly golf. move is pretty sweet
I have been playing sports champs for a few days now but im not touching it again, the game is hard and it hurts me too much.
me I haven't even touched my DS3 since I got the PS-move.

No.. although I have heaps of fun with the Move, the only games I own for it are Flight Control HD (played it to death LOL), Sports Champions (it hurts me after a long time, super fun game though, just for once a week or so) and Heavy Rain (I got a few trophies for it but tbh I wouldnt play it again all the way through)
So ive still been playing heaps with the DS3. Once all the major releases are move-compatible Ill be using Move :3

I've been using both, but mainly the move with MAG. I'm trying to catch up to the deaths I've racked up with the dual shock. So far so good! I go up about .10 KDR every 2 or more matches! lol

I put Demon's Souls (which I only bought recently) back in the other day for about an hour. Apart from that I've just been playing table tennis, and am now trying to get into MAG. I'm completely hopeless so far, but yesterday I finally figured out how to use the knife with Move so I'm making progress.

The 2 months, I've been on my PSP. I've been playing Peace Walker, Persona 3 Portable and then Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. My PSP was suppose to get me through until GT5 or NBA 2K11 and I said I'll pass on the whole motion control phase of Sony and Microsoft.
Then it all changed, I didnt even know the release date of Playstation Move, I only found out when it was a few a day released already. I've watched videos about it, Move games previews, unboxing, and reviews. After watching all those videos, I couldnt resist anymore. I have to try it and see whats all the fuss about.
Good thing I did! Now Ive been playing all Move games, retail or PSN release. Sport Champions kept me from putting Move down. Borrowed Start the Party for my girlfriend and her siblings.
I tried demos, but only once, I'm not much of a demo guy. I bought Planet Mini Golf and Flight HD off the PSN store. I wanted more! I thought to myself, maybe its time to invest on Heavy Rain, so I went ahead and bought it. Now, Heavy Rain made me buy the Navigation Control. After buying it, I want to get Resident Evil 5 now. I hated it with the DS3, so I might like it with the Move.
I cant stop. I have the Move fever. lol

I've tryed only Sport Champion and I have to say, it's very similar to the Wii game. To me, still not being nothing new. Have to try some new stuff/games to convince me

lol, nice post but what do you think of Mini Golf?
I've been holding off since they screwed up by not putting move in the demo.

Since i got Move, i'm totally addicted ! the controls are so fun and responsive... i love it !
But that didn't stop me from using my Dual Shock 3. Actually, i haven't used my DS3 much except for Fifa 11, Nba 2k11 demo and Super Street Fighter 4. The rest have pretty much been Sports Champion, Tumble, Start the Party and the Move demo disc, especially Time Crisis.
I want more Move games definilty, Killzone 3 with Move will be my crack when it comes out, can't wait !

Move doesn't hit Korea until AFTER I leave, so I haven't gotten to play it yet.

Except for it actually, ya know, moving the way you do, and not being "flick" based.

waiting on the fight! sport champion is good thought! should expand it to online play
Sports Champions is just godly!!! Trying to 3 star people on bronze then silver then gold .. ugh then champions league xD
I finally got 3 stars on everyone in the 3 difficult levels of the table tennis champions cup just before the weekend and I felt like I really accomplished something. Going through all the difficulties and recognizing the differences from one level to the next really made me fall in love with this game. I don't see how anyone could compare the way you have to play this at the harder levels to move. That fake move racquet sports port is nothing different than wii in my opinion and I think they left table tennis out of the demo because they didn't want it compared to sports champions. If devs approach what can really be done with move the right way we're all in for a treat over the next few years.
^Yeah Raquet Sports is such garbage. No offense to the Wii, but it feels like a Wii port on the PS3 where Sports Champions feels like an actual Move game.
Surprisingly I've been playing mostly PS2 lately. Stupid Persona 4 won't let me play my PS3 games, so I have been playing non-Move titles.

Only played Sports Champions and it looks like its staying that way for a while as Sony dont seem to have much coming out for it as im really not interested in buying GT5 for Move, i want proper motion games like Sports Champions!
Sports Champions is really the benchmark of 1:1 gaming right now. Hell, it's the benchmark for Move games in general. I've mostly been swapping from Sports Champions to M.A.G. with the Move controller and me ol' DS3. The next big Move release is The Fight: Lights out, heres to hoping it's on the same level as Sports Champions. Also for The Fight, the need for a second Move should boost sales again.

Good for Sony but not good for you or i

I know man, why must the human body have 2 hands instead of 1 >.< Then I'd only need 1 glove.
I haven't played The Fight and I've barely looked into it, but I still worry that it'll give people the wrong impression (if they don't try Sports Champions first). Doesn't The Fight use gestures instead of really being 1:1?
I know it can't really be 1:1 since you aren't going to react to hits, so your body isn't moving the same way as the character on screen. I'm not saying it's bad, but I can imagine people swinging in front of the screen yelling "it's not tracking meee omggggz"

The game is supposed to be pretty close to 1:1 right now with the game only correcting your punches. Swinging wildly will get you no where.

Ehhh.... Well if the kid would throw actual punches instead of flailing his arms like a 9 year old trying to steal your lunch money, the camera could probably pick up the move controllers instead of it going out of the viewable area. 5 days and this game is mine.

Thanks man. I got a buster sword on the other side. I'm a huge 7 nerd.

When i've played Sports Champions or any other game, if i'm carelessly flailing my arms about, my controller will vibrate and lose track. But that kid looked relatively close to the LCD that he was playing the game, but he kept doing these weak, wide armed strikes. I think you should probably have a better approach to gaming if you aren't wearing your hood up, and your backpack on while fighting. There's probably more tactic to the game than what this kid's displaying.
Im i missing what 1:1 means? That video didnt seem to be doing anything the guy was doing? Repeat after me: "The Fight: Lights Out" is not a 1:1 fighter. It's a gesture-based fighter.
There's no way a game like this can be 1:1. If your in-game avatar gets punched is flinching while stumbling backwards, and you swing your arm in real life, should the game still allow you to throw a punch? Of course not. That would totally break the game .

haha yeah I finally got back into Fallout 3. I am getting dangerously close to a platinum on it and I haven't even started my Bro of Steel quest line yet.

I wont put Move down forever, I can see some seriously fun game types coming that can only be done on Move vs the DS3.
Just hard for me to go past 2 epic single player stories like in GOWIII and MGS4.
Just a quick question for archery in Sports Champions. To get the bronze, do you need to three star every AI?
