it was cool for a trial...i was disappointed with the lack of HD videos. so i canceled after my trial was over.
I've been watching a lot of, Anime and TV shows. Good stuff.
I don't have a credit card so I can't even order it :(

Netflix is one of the few things on the planet that is actually worth the price you pay for it.
Here's a video, short, that shows a few features of the app (disc-less) on the PS3.

Keep in mind, this was tested on a slow, unstable, cellular internet connection. Surprisingly works very well. On an 8meg cable connection, it's instant.
although Netflix is awesome, i'm curious what will happen to the price(s) when Netflix has to renegotiate the licensing terms with movie studios over the next few years.
Im still waiting for the Canadian Netflix to be on par with the US. (Here its streaming only, so its kind of diminished most of its value, at least for me)

I just hooked up Hulu plus subscription (1 week for free, so I'm going to try it) and thus far it seems decent enough. Picture quality is okay, but not as good as some of the better Netflix stuff.
The problem with HULU is that many of the videos "expire" after a while and are no longer available. That sucks and may be a deal breaker. However the ability to keep up with ongoing tv shows may be able to redeem it.
I figure between Netflix and Hulu Plus, I would pay $20 a month between the two and never need cable again.

That looks different than the Netflix app I have on my PS3.
Netflix's app sucks compared to Vudu's app. Only thing I don't like about Vudu is you can't use the analog stick and its not a monthly subscription.

I'm the opposite of you. Vudu's app is a nightmare to navigate through -- the UI is crappy compared to Netflix.

I live in Canada and while i think Netflix is cool for the price you pay for, the selection of movies is meh for now.
I just got the free 30 days trial, i'll see if i'll keep it or not.

In the U.S. Netflix is THE BUSINESS.
