Well I was sitting hear thinking, what will happen to me when I finally die on my death bed when I am old or from other death reasons. I am a religious person and I am Christian. I believe in Heaven and Hell, G O D and the Devil. I have a very big heart(very big) and I feel love for everybody and always give chances even to people who have hurt me. I was thinking, when I die, what will happen to me. What will happen to my family and my loved ones. Will I go to hell or heaven. Death is a very scary thing. It is so known but not known. You know what I mean. What do you guys think will happen when you guys die.

I personally believe that there is some kind of place that you go to when you are dead, such as Heaven and Hell, but I also do believe in something else. I partially believe in reincarnation, mainly because I believe why would *** go through the trouble of constantly creating new souls for everyone, I think that most souls are recycled and he makes sure that the horrible, bad souls don't get reincarnated, like Hitler. Hilter doesn't deserve to come back, unless he was destined to come back to get sodomized, castrated and bullet holes in all non-vital areas so he doesn't die... as quickly.

I guess we go to to Heaven or hell, whichever one *** decides for us. Death is a scary thing for me think about. I try not to think about.

I think there's a thread like this somewhere.

Anyway, I try notto think about dieing. Really not sure what will happen when I die. There's one thing I know for a fact about death though:

You can't avoid it.

Yes...I think the same, Crazy Phat.
Actually, one of the reasons that drove me crazy when he died was because he wasn't a very good Christian....><
I kept thinking "What if he couldn't go to Heaven..." T.T....
Everytime, I see his face in my mind not beside ***, but elsewhere ><...
I am scared he some place else...and also worried that he must be so frightened and lonely......
I try and think of him in that special place next to ***, but what if he didn't go there? >.<......

I don't get how people say "Death is a scary thing" what is so scary? It's depressing to think about other people and yourself dieing, but scary? It can't be scary......Have you died before?were you afraid?(You don't need to answer that lol) Thats what I think.
In all seriousness I don't belive in hell, quite frankly I find it idiotic,I'm catholic, but I do not belive in everything they teach.I do belive in a ***,I don't belive in a devil.Anyways I don't want anyone to start flaming or this getting very religious,so I'll stop.

I am not religious over death. All I know is that we rest after we die. What is important is that when you die, you are at least proud of the things that you did in your life; the people that you have affected and maybe even the love that you have shared with others.

I have my own beliefs on death..

i think that after we die, we can think for a while about stuff that we did in our life, but after, your are reincarnated as a new soul / baby.

nothing lasts forever.

We die, we go to heaven or hell. We could go to hell first to pay for your sins then to heaven. I pray for everyone to end up in heaven. No matter the religion. I've heard stories about hell, and it just freaks me out.

If die playing video games to go to game Heaven? 0.0

I'd rather have dying being a dream. That'd be awesome.

I don't wanna explain my feelings on this issue as people wouldn't read and I don't have enough time to type.

Re-birth would be good. Lots of chances to do other stuff.

Ya know, it's so interesting listening to other people's opinion on death. It's a very touchy topic for some... I'm not suicidal or anything but I don't fear death, I embrace it. I want to know what happens after you give that final breath.... I was brought up in a christian environment but like many, I have my own views on life and death which isn't so much a straight live and die thing but rather A consciousness of reality or what we think reality is...

Take for example, you go to sleep every night wake up. Have you ever had a dream? Did if feel real? Did it feel so real that you couldn't possibly dismiss it as a dream. I mean, all of your five senses seemed to work whether you were dreaming about eating, walking, or flying. At the time it seemed so real because your perception of reality was slightly altered. At the end of your dream everything seems to fade out to black and you wake up to the "real" world.
So who's to say that when you die, your soul doesn't wake up to a new consciousness and everything from that point on is "real." I'm not saying that life is one big dream and death is the end. I think death is only the beginning to the rest of what we think reality is.

I'm not religious man so I can't say anything about that one. If there is no "afterlife" etc. then one thing is sure: you won't be pissed after you have died. Because you pretty much don't feel anything then. So I don't worry about these things. But if there is *** or something like that, I don't think he/she/it demands to live like he wants us to live, so that we wouldn't suffer after dying. Just live well and let others live too. That should be enough.

All I'd say about dying is this, don't get cremated in a hurry. *mumbles about
something to do with electric signals remaining in the brain after we die*

Well if there's a hell and heaven then wont we all go to hell? A lot of religions says that if you aren't a member of their religion then you will go to hell. And I don't think there is that many people that is a member of all religions..

But I believe in reincarnation, after we die we gets born again, and can't remember anything, and we will go wonder about how it was to live in 1800 even though we actually did live at that time

Reincarnation is a possibility. But I myself don't fully believe in that, and neither do I believe in a heaven or hell. I do like to think that everyone has a soul or a life force and that after are human selves cease to exist, our spirit lives on elsewhere. But who's to say. I like to think of death as another adventure .

Well, being a born again Christian and experiencing the many things that I do day in and day out, I most definitely believe in G O D, heaven, and hell.

Life after death, a tricky subject. I think if we die, then there is no life afterwards, as death is the ending of life. So for there to be life after we pass, so to speak, then death must not exist. Perhaps it is only our bodies that pass, but then again i'd have to ask many of you the question, do you believe there is more to us then just bodies? Do you believe in a soul, a divine consciousness or whatever you want to call it, because we basically know for a fact that our bodies do die, so if a part of us lives, then it must be something seperate from it.

I'm not 100% sure what i believe on the matter. I feel strongly that there is life after death, but seen as i am terrified of not existing, i am naturally biased in my beliefs. It is possible that when we pass we, in a most darwinistic manner, cease to exist completely. I personally though, have felt and experianced things in this life though, that lead me to believe that there is something more to life then, well....life. I think if there is life after death, then reincarnation is almost definitely correct. Also, let me make something clear to you all. there is no heaven and hell, let me just repeat that to try and get it to sink in THERE IS NO HEAVEN AND HELL . They are fairy tales created by religons as a method of control. I'm not saying that it isn't possible that there are heaven and hell type places in the universe, i'm saying that the way religons, imparticularly christianity, describe these things is simplictic and insulting to our intelligence as a race.

Ultimately though, i do not think we should fear death. If there is life after we pass then it is good. If not then we won't exist so we won't be fearing anything. All we can do is live our life to the fullest and try to be kind and always do what we believe to be right. Let's spend less time fearing death, and spend more time loving life.

I have had that thought many times. Have you read the philosophy of Plato, he had a similiar theory of life. Perhaps it is correct. We will have to wait and see.

I've heard stories about hell, and it just freaks me out.

Obv from the people who have been there, then come back to tell us all about it :D.

God is an invention of man, people here in Englan believe in god according to the teachings of "the church of england" - the church of england was a spin off church just so our king could get a divorce without going to hell! What kind of religion is that?!

I don't believe in religion [obviously] but i do believe in spirituality, if i were to describe myself as anything it would be loosely based on buddhism, i just try to be a good dude and cause no harm to people. I don't know what happens when I die, but it can't be that bad, no one has come back and said it was crap. ;)

Wise words. I agree with most of what you wrote there.

you're right about the Henry the 8th thing aswell. He altered the church so that he could get divorced. I think that Protestantism is basically based on the church of england, so any one who calls themselve a true christian can't really be Protestant, as their whole belief system was altered so that some fat king could get another wife. Divine isn't it ;)

i myself am religious. i try my best to comfort people and try my best to keep from doing the wrong things. i believe that death is nothing to be feared. if you think about it, you follow the lord and try not to "offend him" or sin and ask for his acceptance and his forgiveness of your sins there shouldnt be much to fear about death. unless you kill yourself or injure and/or kill someone with no justifiable cause, its G O D's choice where you go. Remember David from David and goliath? he was one that god loved and forgave even though david had multiple wives and even had one (forgot if there were more or not) of their husbands killed so he could have their wife. where did he go? i think theres a place for all of us, our own version of heaven or hell. so, in my eyes, theres nothing to fear, as long as i get what ive inadvertently chosen through my actions.

I can talk about this for hours so I'll say a couple of quick words. I grew up christian but like a lot of others don't really agree with everything the religion teaches or says. Again, like others I try to just not cause harm, and get through life. Now about the after live. I grew up believing in heaven and hell but right now I really don't think about those kind of things. Where ever live takes me will be the place for me.

I believe that you go to heaven/hell or you're reincarnated as another person or animal. If I become an animal, I want to be a dolphin or eagle. Pretty out there but how fun would it be to soar the skies or ocean? If I'm a person then hopefully I would be fortunate to have a nice family.

First thing first. Hell is the worst thing you can imagine, you don't need to hear about it from the others. What is the worst thing you can think of? Okay, multiply that.

Second thing. I do not believe in this "be christian or be in hell!" thing, I believe that if you have lived good life and let the others live too, you have not sinned etc. you will get to heaven. To me, all this threathing to join the christian religion is just the way make this religion larger. Of course, this happens with all the religions.

I've heard stories. Trust me, I don't remember if this was supposed to be of hell but imagine this. You're in your coffin, just laying. But instead of being dead, you're alive. Your back is burning because of the heat. There are snakes moving from the top to the bottom of your coffin. Never know when one will bite.

And you thought snakes on a plane is bad. :|

I have gone trough all the usual rites of christian and I belong to a chuch, but I only belive in some historical prospects of a Bible.
I belive that when you die, the person you are will be no more and your brain and body will rot.

To me Heaven and Hell are the consequences of the acts you have commited during your life and earned to live trough.

Heaven is the blessed life with good family and children.
Not a price we get after death, but the price of a life itself.

Sorry, but that's all a fairy tale. a dark fairy tale, but fictionary nonetheless. From my experiances, most people's vision of heaven is all their favourite things in life, and hell is all their worst fears. Heaven and hell seem to be different for everyone, so they really only exist in people's minds.

I just think the world would be better if no one believed in heaven or hell. In fact i believe there's a song written about it by your very own mister Lennon. ;) goes something like this

"Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try
No hell below us, above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today, etc..."

I think that image is more beautiful then anything religion paints about heaven or hell.
