Hey PSU community!

After settling some disagreements and making painstaking cuts, our editorial team finally came together to nominate five games for each category of PlayStation Universe's 2010 game awards. For this year's comprehensive PSU.com game awards, we've decided to give you guys and girls just as much as a say as our staff team. When we finally reveal our editorial team's recipient of any given award, the community's choice will be displayed just as prominently alongside it. So, if you want your voice to be heard, you have to VOTE! (And, as a favor to us, please get the word out to other members to do the same!)

The rules are as follows. You may vote only once, represented by a single post in this thread, in as few or as many of the categories as you wish. To vote, please copy and paste the list of nominees below, then cut out four of the five games in each category, leaving only the one you intend to vote for. If you wish to abstain from voting in a particular category, simply delete it entirely.

Members have an entire week to vote. Votes posted later than December 22 at 5 PM EST will not be considered. After that time, we'll tally the votes to determine the community choices for each award. Again, when we reveal our editorial team's award recipients, the community choices will appear just as prominently alongside them.

How is it possible PSU didn't include GT5 as a nominee for most disappointing game? I don't know a single person who's played it, or reviewed it that didn't feel a sense of major dissapointment. Oh, and SSF4 wasn't an expansion. It was entirely new game, with major balance changes, new characters, and a full new set of ultras. Go tell the folks at SRK or any high level SSF4 player that it was just an expansion and you will get poked in the eye :) Come on PSU, I thought you guys were a gaming site, you should know better.

The Fight - the most poorly (on the part of reviewers) & lazily reviewed game of the year. A really solid game if you know what it is & how to go about it: It's a fighting sim/RPG, not an instant gratification equivalent of a button-masher. The fat, lazy or just incompetent reviewers out there who all scored this really low and who probably got out of breath after the only 15 minutes of activity they saw that day aside from w4nking over hentai... them wanting to flail around & pull off awesome moves right out of the box should hang their heads in shame for not seeing this title as one of the most interesting & fun of the year.

Pac-Man CE DX - just pure entertainment & sh1tloads of it.

Oh, and for the record, I loved Alpha Protocol as well, as did plenty of proper gamers! GT5 was the big disappointment...
