best SMG in black ops

i don't have it yet in my 1st prestige and didn't use/buy it before i prestiged.. but is the spectre any good? its stats indicates it is to me

i liked the mp5k in the beginning but when i unlock ak47u best smg hands down

ill pick the MAC11 over AK74u any day. just put extended mags on it so you get a 30 round clip. MAC11 is my favorite.

For the last 2 prestiges I have gone all AK47u, all the time... it just kills faster.

When I get bored I run the MAC11 or the MPL.

I love the AK74U but the PM63 ain't bad I hate the MP5K I can never get any kills with it

i dont play bo anymore but i liked the mac11 , uzi, pm63 im level 39 (i think) so i gota unlock a few more guns might go back and give it a chance jus kno that im about to switch back to bfbc2 and i might even get the vietnam dlc thats the fps that will hold me off till kz3

AK74u is my favorite, followed by the PM63. I haven't used the last few as much yet and will give them a try.

The AK74u is overused like crazy I know you state "besides the AK74u" but in reality I rarely see anybody else using the other SMGs. I see people here and there using the MP5 but for the most part they use the AK74u....

I honestly think that the best smg in black ops is the MPL with rapid fire and grip. It kills fast and has great accuracy.

Dual Skorpions with steady aim kicks a$$ on short range maps like nuketown and firing range, not so good for long range though.

I agree with the guy above, although I only really have a problem with dual skorpions on array because there are quite a few 'corridors' where people can catch you out.

but my top 3 are ak74u, mp5, spectre. ak74u is very popular so i stopped using it but mp5 and spectre are very underrated, trust me you should try them out

I like the MPL but I switch them up all the time because for some reason I am never consistant with SMG's in this game.

I don't normally use SMGs but when I get bored and wanna change it up a little I use dual kiparis with lightweight on. Just run and blast everyone. Just don't try any long range shooting. :P

Spectre with grip for me. Sometimes I add the silencer to that too, it puts alot of bullets on target in a hurry.

MP5 is a beast for an early level gun. I pretty much use that for my smg class til i unlock the spectre, which is probably my favorite. For some reason i never have liked the MPL iron sites. I used to use dual PM63s with the whole lightweight steady aim marathon combo before i learned how to actually aim, but i went back and tried em again recently and it was actually really fun, i like the sound of them the most out of all the smgs.

I never use SMGs, usually stick to an assault rifle. But if I did, I use a uzi, with silencer, and rapid fire. Quite deadly at close range. Or the ak74u, but I've stopped using that for a while.
