Here are some new images of Namco's latest arcade fighting game Tekken 5, the game is scheduled for a fall release, and the home version is scheduled for a 2005 release.

Hey no jaggies! Seriously though, the game looks real nice.
Yea. Looks a bit samey though. Hopefully they can introduce something new into the fading series. Perhaps destructable arenas or maybe weapons etc.

yea the series could do with something new now otherwise it doesn’t stand a chance against the other fighters that are and are to be developed
maybe instead of having a small area to fight in you could have a interactive environment, so for example 1 might be a park, an area with things like benches for you to throw at your opponent ........ you both can move around the park but you have to stay within a certain distance of each other or something, and of course the area wont be that big just a lot bigger then in most fighters

Yea but really that wouldn't bring about anything new. Dynasty warriors had a story mode, okay it was laughable, but it had one none the less. So did Mortal Kombat and Tekken did had a vague story line, but yes, no story mode. Basically better graphics isn't going to be enough to make me buy T5. I'm definitely going to go with MK Deception unless Tekken can bring about something special, not just a time wasting, booring story mode, which I imagine it will be if they put it in.

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. The Romance of the three kingdoms is a FAMOUSE historical part of ancient China. We should be honored to have it as the base storyline for DW :lol:. Well, not really honored... I personally didn't care much for the storyline either :lol: :P. Shame on me :P.

Thats a really nice idea GU, having bigger 3D maps where we can run around fighting, as opposed to the boring environments we have now. What would be good too is if we could pick up items from the surrounding, like a plank of wood, or a shovel or something, and start battling with those. :D
Resistance: Fall of Man for the PS3

At this year’s GDC (Game Developers Conference), Insomniac Games announced that its sci-fi FPS, I-8, now renamed Resistance: Fall of Man should be ready late 2006.
With the game having a late 2006 release date, it is speculated that Resistance: Fall of Man could be a PS3 launch title or within the launch window (whatever that means).
Also at GDC 2006, Insomniac Games demonstrated a new demo of Resistance: Fall of Man, and they stated the demo was not using close to the full power of the Playstation 3. In addition, Insomniac Games supposedly is going to show more at this years E3, and from the last demo (E3 2005) I saw, this game looks to impress not only in visuals but in A.I. too. Plus, it would be a great addition to what is already announced for the PS3’s November lineup.
