View Full Version : I'm surprised Treyarch knows how to do perks
So I finally bought Black Ops after getting a bit bored with BC2 (not to mention, the damn game won't let me join games at times, ever since the new expansion arrived).
So I was looking up the perks and I noticed that they redid the perks and now they finally make sense!
MW1 did the perks right, MW2 ****ed it up, bad. I always felt like I wasn't using some parts of the perk and the only way I could use 'em was to go out of my play-style or even out of my class to utilize them.
I mean, why the **** would a sniper have steady aim perk? (you needed it to stop breathing longer while sniping)
Anyway, looking forward to playing it, I'm hoping I don't experience the glitches that people have been talkinga bout. Here's good luck to me.

Marathon Pro has ruined Capture the Flag because now everyone just camps by the flag. :(

hah lol maybe you guys are right. I should wait and then judge. But I'm certain nothing can **** me off as much as MW2 did...so we'll see!

Well...
in MW2 you had the ghost-perk, it would hide that nasty square around you evrytime a choppergunner or someting apears. Not in black ops, have fun playing 1 game on training-ground or nuketown with a baddy like that circeling above your head.

Of course you can get that perk it's called Ghost Pro, It's the first pro perk I try for.
The game is alot better after the last patch, host migration seems to be working better, hardly no lag on my end and best off all I havent had a freeze at loading the map screen :)
its only natural they learn something from the previous game's mistakes and feed-back .
Treyarch still screwed up alot in this one .

The framerate isn't perfect but it's not nearly as bad as some people were making it out to be.
It is pretty bad in single player for some odd reason.
I like the gun-buying system much better, I think it has a lot more freedom, the unlock system in MW2 was tedious.
Guns for some reason, feel better than MW2 to me...are they easier to shoot? Not sure, could someone confirm? They seem easier to shoot for me...or maybe it's because I just came off BC2 lol.
Also seems like enemies take lesser bullets. Can't wait to try hardcore mode.
Maps are ok...they seem smaller, is this true? The maps aren't as crazy as MW2 (which is good), and seem more tactical and have a lot of multi-level fights but they do seem smaller and somewhat lack creativity. Not bad though, I can live with the maps...at least they're not unfair so far. MW2 maps were unfair at points.
