Hello, I just recently migrated from MW2 to Black Ops. I mostly play demolition but playing alone with random isn't fun at all.
The main strategy I employ when playing demolition is spawn rushing (or spawn camping). Where I immediately go to the enemy's spawn points and try to trap them there, thus preventing them from reaching the objective. This was a fairly powerful tactic in MW2 and I would like to play with some people in Black Ops that do the same thing.

Poor Style of playing, actually try getting the objective. That's what Teams do.

Not sure why you bothered replying to my topic. I'll continue playing how I like. Getting 100+ kills in objective-based game types is extremely fun for me. Strictly playing the objective and planting the bomb within the first 30 seconds of the match, I think, is very boring.
I don't want to have a debate about this.

Poor Style of playing, actually try getting the objective. That's what Teams do.A good team secures the objective and then spawn camps, in my opinion at least.

Yeah we do both. Strictly committing to either one is stupid in my opinion. Back in MW2, in demolition, we would deliberately lose the first round, win the 2nd round, and deliberately let the match go into overtime. The longer the game was the more kills we'd get. We would defuse/plant one bomb per round to prolong the round. We would also plant sentry turrets at their spawn points.

This thread fails. You know why? Because the spawns in BO are total ****. I mean you spawn and you walk 2-3 feet trying to go to their spawn and bam u r dead by someone who spawned right behind you :P

You can only get so close to their spawn before it flips. And that is mainly objective matches, no idea how tdm works. On dom, you just stay a certain distance from their flag (provided you have the other 2). But EVERYBODY has to cooperate, it only takes one guy to run through their area to flip the spawn. It's almost impossible to do without a well communicating team. Demolition is even easier, you can get really close to the spawn without flipping it, we straight up murder people on Nuketown when we do this.

You won't find anyone here..people hate players with your "style" such a " N00by" thing to do.
In league matches I have Won many a CTF match (various game not COD) using spawn camping it pisses the other payers of but in a league its what happens.
Adding algorithms to try to stop spawn camping makes it just as possible to predict where they will spawn, the best spawn system I have seen is in Section 8.
TDM is mor random I would guess because there are no objectives to capture, diffuse, attack etc.

Makes me laugh when people play objective based games like Demolition and just go for the kills, I thought team deathmatch was for that :-? :roll:
I used to play a lot of search and destroy because i like the tacticle element to it but the amount of people who used to completely ignore the bomb or to diffuse the bomb and go for the kills or just run around willy nilly just made it boring.
As for spawn camping well it definitely increase over half term :lol:
Glad i stopped playing CoD for the very reason of the opening post
You know, I've got a feeling that the OP is being sarcastic...

in all seriousness i do play demolition sometimes not always though because when i do play i play with my friends and we do spawn trap them, i know its not a really great thing to do but thats why i dont play it much its too easy to get kills
which country are you from? not being racist or anything but i dont like to add anyone besides from british people i do have some friends that arent from the UK but whenever i do play with them either me or they will end up with a 2 bar connection and will time out soon. anyway add me if you wish then we'll play sometime my psn is CaptainMcMulla
