why is the mod twenty three editing my post
I didnt call any single person on this forum a sheep i was talking generally i posted two pics just because twenty three dosnt like my opinion he edited my post wtf is that about thats what im talking about that if you opinion is different from a staff member or mod etc then they will change your opinion to suit theirs this is a fourm isnt it i wasnt swearing flaming or being rude but that mod changed my post wtf for just because he can or just because the opinion of a mod on a certain subject is more important then that of the person who posted in a thread
this is why psu is going down the toilet over zealous mods editing anything they can just to make themselves feel better

um as I explained in another thread i never just back mods, the report section has a ton from me questioning decisions, I also pm mods and admins a lot on decisions I disagree with and engage in a conversation with them without turning it into a public slagging match. you will find more gets achieved that way.
EDIT: this is also my second nomination for hall of shame's revival

Then you have no reason to sit there and scratch your chin wondering why your post was moderated. If you've been here for at least 4 years then you should know how things work.
Even if you weren't directing your comment at other members, given your general attitude I wouldn't blame 23 for editing your post from just reading it. Maybe offer some clarification next time.

I don't think he meant 'new members' that way...
What the issue is when people think they can speak or act in a tone conducive of someone who's above the rules or doesn't fit into the same body of members as everyone else. If a mod edits my post, they have their own reasons for doing so, and I would wager that they have plenty of questions concerning actions...but that thread could turn political really quick, and politics don't ever end well.

if they feel it breaks teh rules. YES
take it up in a pm, or with another staff member. but you cant deny that you did insult people. personally i couldnt give a **** what people say, its the internet deal with it, but you agree to the rules which say you cant insult people, and if you do, then mods will edit your posts.
also on the "over zelous modding" its pretty light around here atm, and surely a member that has been lurking for as long as you would have noticed the days before which were tougher. and there was a thread like TWO DAYS AGO, moaning that mods weren't doing enough. so what do you want them to do.

It's all in perception, as nobody can see facial expressions, we can all only read the words herein and guess at the attitude of the posters..
If I perceive something as an insult, then I would go so far to assume others will too.

it shouldn't be ok, but then no users were insulted. its a strong opinion but there not here to enforce opinion on outside figures, there here to stop members being insulted. i agree that people shouldn't think or say such things, but whether its within a mods remit to do so, because then they would essentially be censoring peoples opinions. which is not good.
