Annihilation is the third downloadable content (DLC) for Call Of Duty: Black Ops. It will be released on the 28th June for Xbox 360 and a month later for PS3 and PC.

Hangar 18
Silo
Hazard
Drive-In
Shangri-La (Zombie map)
Trivia:
The map Silo previously existed already in the game files.
The Zombie Map Shangri-La may be a reference to an area of the same name in the book The Lost Horizon, they are Both Similar as they are referred to as Paradise.
All of the maps from this map pack (except Drive-in) are based from their scrapped counterparts. Hangar 18 is based off the Area 51, Silo is based of the scrapped map with the same name, Hazard is based off Golf Course,and Shangri-La is based off from Temple of Doom.

I myself can't wait for the new map pack, especially a new Zombies map, even tough Escalation just came out, I can't get enough of Zombies.:D
Soiled pants at E3 surely led to this earlier than expected release.
My missus bought the recently new maps, I tried them and they're much better due to their size and path variety.
Shame about the pants spawning (you only see 60% of the map area used), the dodgy hit detection and the Lagathon perk that plagues the entire MP.

Drive-In looks "avoid at all costs", however the other three look alright, especially the golf course.

They all look awesome, especially Drive-In and Hazard. The new zombie map looks insane, a mine cart? Temples in the Himalaya? Awesome!
hmm in my opinion i think they should of stopped at escalation people r buying escalation and what do you know a new map pack comes out :(

Escalation has been out for a well over a month now on the xbox. This is coming out only on the xbox for at least a month or so, so the timing is pretty much par for the course for COD, so I dont see anything wrong with this.
If it was releasing for PS3 next week, then yeah, I would agree it is too soon.
I completely understand that I committed a big mistake by buying such a crappy game like Black Ops. I dislike the franchise itself, but I'd liked the Zombies mode in World At War and I discovered that this was a problem after I got Black Ops. Crappy graphics (Many games from the PS2 era have better graphics), a humble story and an arcade gameplay.
Even though I bought the game to play the Zombies mode, and surprise...I don't like it! The problem is that I have to get every DLC Treyarch introduces just to have 100% trophy list! What gets under my nerve is that a disgusting DLC that is released every now and then to Black Ops costs $18.00 (Middle East PSN store). Now this is a blackmail. Anyway, it's no one's fault, but mine. I'll never ever play this franchise again, and will never ever buy any game published by Activision.

right i got these maps on the xbox and ive had 2 games online one being on hazard and one being on drive in.
hazard: do you hate campers? well you're prayers have been answered from what ive played, seen and heard of from other players this map has no real camping spots and its a medium sized map which is really open. Its looks great too as theres a golf course in the middle which makes it different to other maps and its colourful too
drive in: another good map, not exactly a samll map but probably the size of firing range which is great as all the maps so far in the map packs have been medium to large. there are some great ways to get round this map and there are sniper spots on each side of the map.
shangri la: another good episode in the zombies, treyarch should make a zombies game would be really awesome. this map is great some traps you have to be aware of, great new ways to get around the map and new type of enemies too which make it difficult.
all in all i think this map pack is the best, the multiplayer maps for once are enjoyable the last 2 packs had really average maps imo
new maps suck. shang ra li sucks as well.

Easily the best map pack out of the 3. I like all of them even though Hazard is a snipefest most of the time.
