I have a short list and reasonable request

1)SSX Vita
2)MGS :PW Vita
3)Outland
4)Battlefield Vita(not, necessarily 3, just BF version of the game)

Can ps3 arcade games be ported to a psp and played on? Just asking, never had a psp so I'm curious. If thats the case, Outland can get taken off

If ea isn't working on getting those two titles on the vita, then they are truly morons, and everyone knows that outland is a portable game. Something to distract you on the road or when you got some downtime at work, so ubisoft, get on that! I haven't bought the game on psn yet because I don't want to buy it twice..

Konami..Well, They don't give a shit bout the fans:lol: so I don't expect it. I mean, MGO just got an update a few months back and 2 years of begging and half their core audience was gone. Plus, still no support for trophies (and never will be)

However Konami, to make up, and I'll give you my all my love if you release a Contra vita AND (wait for it, wait for it) Gradius Vita then we'll be good:cool:

I mean come on, who doesn't fucking like gradius? That would own stardust! at least for me

Only minis and PS1 games can be played on both ps3 and psp. There are some titles that allow you to play through remote play, but most don't.

I will try to keep it somewhat short and try to leave out most of the obvious big titles such as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. It will probably be obvious by this list that I prefer the jrpg genre.

Afrika - Or a game like it that uses the gyroscope in the PS Vita as a camera (see Uncharted (http://youtu.be/PSsekw0lC88?t=1m22s) for example)

'Tales of' series - I would prefer a new 'Tales of' game, but I would be fine with a port(at least to start off with).

Dark Cloud 3 - With the town building and all of the other side stuff you can do this game seems like it would be a great fit on the PS Vita and make good use of its controls.

Wild Arms - Another jrpg that I think could take advantage of the controls on the PS Vita.

Skies of Arcadia - This was such a great game that deseves to be expanded on in some way. It doesn't necessarily have to be SoA or follow the same character, but it would be nice to see some of the gameplay elements that made Skies of Aradia so great in some more games.

Mega Man Legends - I know it's currently slated on the 3DS(although not greenlit yet). The original two were on the PSOne, it would be nice to see the series also continue on the PSVita. A multiplatform release may also increase the chances it is greenlit.

There are a lot more games I would like to see on the PS Vita, but I will leave it at this for now.

Hell to the yes! Sony should be ashamed of themselves for letting this series fade away. I know there was some info a year or so ago about Media Vision working on a PSP and PS3 game, but nothing more is known at this point.

If they did do it, I would hope it would be its own little side story. They've already worked out plenty of back story for the console trilogy so finding a place to set it within the Mass Effect universe shouldn't be too hard.

Lots more original games/new Ips that take advantage of the hardware and use it in creative ways.

Lets keep PS3-like experiences for the PS3. Make Vita unique

Is there any news on that Resident Evil PSP game that Sony announced at their 2009 conference or did that become the RE game on 3DS?

A kingdom hearts game.
A Valkyrie Profile game.
A Resistance game like Retribution.

I would say a God of War game, but I think they've done enough God of War handhelds.

Final Fantasy
More RPGs...
Metal Gear Solid
GTA
GT5/vita
Tekken tag2
A game like WKC so I can enjoy playing an RPG on the go n when I come back home I can jump online n party up with some mates..
Twisted Metal
BF1943
A different battlefield game
A classic WWII CoD/MoH
A classic brothers n arms (not this new one)

RE PSP possibly turned into RE: Raccoon City (Slant Six was originally a PSP developer and RE PSP was said to be vastly different from all past REs that would take place in Raccoon City -> now we have an upcoming, multiplayer orientated RE game coming from Slant Six that takes place in Raccoon City), not 3DS's Revelations, which they've officially confirmed not to be what RE PSP was supposed to be.

RE PSP was probably going to be a kind Monster Hunter-fied Resident Evil, those kinds of multiplayer/coop games are all the rage in Japan right now (there are tons of 'em for PSP, especially in Japan), but they probably took a long look at how badly PSP was doing outside Japan and shifted development to PS360 and made it more competetive instead of coop.

Just wondering, are you referring to the lack of RPGs on the PSP?

If you are, there is more RPGs on the PSP that I can even dare to delve into. lol

Is MGS4 coming to the PSV? I remember some mention about it being able to run MGS4, but will it come out? I really hope it does. I like, no love MGS, MGS4 was good, but the thing I didn't like about it and the reason that I haven't replayed the story is because of the mandatory reinstalls..:(

with psv, I could just play it, no problems. :)

No, I doubt it's coming. Kojima/Sony/Konami showed a tech demo that was running that cutscene which introduces that little robot with wheels on it (sorry, been a long time since I played MGS4, don't remember its name). Even though it was only a cutscene (quite simple and unimpressive at that, with very few characters and not that much action or grand setpieces), the framerate was apparently quite horrible. Add stuff like physics, AI, bigger & more complex environments, more characters on screen and whatnot into it in gameplay situations and what happens in more impressive cutscenes and it quickly becomes impossible to run on Vita. It was just shown that Vita CAN run graphics like that without melting down or without it becoming a total slideshow, but it doesn't mean Vita is capable of running MGS4 at an acceptable framerate (or that it's coming to Vita).

Think of it like the FFVIII tech demo that was shown with PS2's reveal. It was the dancing scene with Squall & Rinoa from the game (a pre-rendered cutscene originally at that) that PS2 could presumably render, but that never amounted into anything, least of all a FFVIII PS2 remake, or even games that looked like that on PS2 (even PS3 can't quite achieve the same level, in many ways).

I think it would be neat to see some of the more obscure (specifically in concept) but beautiful and more thoughtful games that are available on the PS3 getting ports for the Vita would be nice. For instance, it would be cool to be able to play Flower on the go so that for instance at work or in a busy city on a trip or something you would be able to feel a taste of the grandeur and wonder that is our natural world.

No games that are downgraded copies of their PS3 counter parts.

Make games that fill in gaps between the PS3 version, sports and casual games being the exceptions. God of War is exactly what I'm talking about. New yet similar!

Ports are going to suffer on this console. It has to be optimized for PSV. That's wht I want SSX vita:P

FF games of course
BF 1943 ported
Twisted Metal (either ported from PS3 or a new one)

Mael Duin
09-06-2011, 10:45
Of course new games, new IPs. PSP had too many ports or spinoffs for its own good.
But then again, it would be hard to answer to the question otherwise. :P

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep volume 2 is a must.
More JRPGs than what PS3 has. Wild Arms should come back.
Demon's Souls 2 (for PS3 and Vita)

Eh, that's it actually. Make Vita unique.

Gears of War Portable ( Hey a man can dream)
Mega Man Legends 3 ( Hey a man can dream)
It's so sad when it's more realistic to get Gears of War Portable than getting Mega Man Legends 3... ;_;
