Konami Supports Revolution

One to two flagship games set for Nintendo's next generation. Does this mean there are only two flagships 1 on the Xbox 360 and 1 on teh Nintendo Revolution???? :?

June 29, 2005 - Konami has some big plans in store for all three next generation systems. In comments shared with Japan's Weekly Toyo Keizai, Kazuya Takahashi (President, Online Company) and Michihiro Ishizuka (President, Computer & Video Games Company) revealed that the company plans on producing one or two flagship titles for each system. These titles will make full use of each systems' unique specifications, suggesting that they could be exclusive.


Getting into specifics, Ishizuka cited Metal Gear Solid 4 as one of the PS3 flagship titles. For 360, the company hopes to develop a new property.
Multiplatform support seems to be big on the company's agenda. Ishizuka states that most titles that don't require full hardware specifications will be released as multiplatform titles, including the PC. Takahashi backs this statement, adding that it's important to create an environment where as many players as possible can play.
