mabe you can let us make icons to put in the shop. it would let us get points if we are good at it and we would have a better selection of icons to buy. i think it would have to go through a mod or admin to see if its good enough or just something stupid. and when someone makes one another person cant copy it so we dont have a million of the same one. what do you say.
If you read through the suggestions and comments section, you will see that it IS the members who have created most of the icons for the shop. All you have to do is identify a good idea for an icon which we currently dont have, create it, and post in one of the icon threads showing the icon you made. If its good, we'll add it, if its not, we won't. Members dont get skill points, however they get the pride and bragging rights to say that they created the graphic!

Yeah that would be a good idea, if you make it and you accept it the maker gets one for free that sounds fair.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea, but instead of the maker gets it for me, I think they should get a 1000 Skill Point reward; this way they could buy any icon of their choosing, or keep their skill points...

Well, I have already bought all of my icons. So I can say that I don't care for the skill points atm, but maybe in the future.
The reason we don't give out skill points currently for icon makers, is becuase if we did we would be flooded by loads of peoplpe trying to get their "amazing, crucial new icon" added, just to get the skill points. At the moment, if an icon is needed then a user will make one, and they will get praise for it. You get bragging rights, and thats enough IMO, for the reason I mentioned.

Yeah but i guess what some people are trying to say you'll make an icon you'll really like and it will get added to the store but you can get one because you don't have enough points and you get really bummed out... Instead of points why don't you give the creator one of their own or something if they don't have enough points to buy it?

Yes okay, that sounds fair. From now on the creators of icons will get one free. Sorry to you guys who had to pay for theirs, its not a huge deal though.
