I need the Eightarc Fusion Stick in my life because fighting games have been a part of my life for the past 6 years and I want to continue my passion through this stick. Just recently my Madcatz TE stick died on me and so I am without a stick and I truly believe that the only way to enjoy fighting games is through a quality stick such as the Eightarc Fusion Stick, which I tried out at Dromstruction. I've actually met the folks behind the Eightarc sticks such as 725 at Dromstruction which was held at UC Davis. I bought a shirt from them and hope to support Eightarc in anyway I can but for now I am broke. Hopefully I win this stick to help me continue playing fighting games, the way they're supposed to be played!

I need this Eightarc Stick in my life because I go to the local arcade in my area in New York, the tournaments there for fighting games are primarily on XBOX 360. However, in my house I have a PS3. The fact that this stick is dual modded for both system will prove to be very convenient. I'm in college at the moment and I recently had a Hori stick, however last year the stick died on me. Paying off my tuition I definitely can't afford to buy a stick at the moment. I definitely go to Eightarc's website from time to time just to check out their sticks because, let's face it, they have the prettiest sticks haha. Hopefully I win so I can do what I love more often, which is play my fighting games and have the ability to enter tournaments more often. Later guys.

This Stick reminds when I used to play with my older brother's Super Nes Score Master. We used to play a lot together with that........well :P I was little back then....he was 14 and I was 4 years old so he let me play a bit with it, just a bit so I wouldn't break it (A). He passed away 3 years ago, I have very fun memories of us playing SNES (BEST SYSTEM EVER!!!) together back then, we spent hours playing with the arcade controller....well, me watching him play :P. I don't have his Super Nes Score Master anymore and this Eightarc Fusion Fightstick will mean much to me. I always wanted to purchase an arcade controller like this to play fighting games like I did back then with my brother , but cant afford one since they have always been crazy expensive. Ok I had been playing fighting games ever since I started Tekken 1 from PS1 to PS2's Tekken Tag and other games such as UMvC and DoA4. I need this stick because as a long time fighting game fan (I've been playin Street Fighter since the very 1st one in 87') my standard edition Madcatz Street Fighter IV stick has crapped out on me. Fighting games don't feel the same on a d-pad, never have & they never will. I need this stick because fighting games are what I live for and they are by far my favorite videogame type. My Madcatz standard edition crapped out on me a week after SF x Tekken came out and as a result I haven't gotten a chance to dive into it the way I want to. Skullgirls is another game I've been wanting to get my mitts on as well but, again without a proper stick, I can't fork over the cash if I'm unable to enjoy the game as it was meant to be enjoyed. The only time I get to use a fighting stick since mine died is when my friend Rene comes over to play but, he's selfish and rarely shares. Not one to gloat nor am I a fan of rubbing stuff in peoples face but, I need this stick to rub it in Rene's face and resume the top quality beatings given online as well as offline. In closing... I need the Eightarc Fusion fightstick because although I've been gaming for well over 35+ years now, & even at the ripe old age of 59 years old, I still kind of suck at fighting games.
And as an avid video gaming collector too, with 46 consoles & hand-held's, as well as 2,337 games in my gaming collections so far, I still can't afford a "good" $170+ current gen fightstick now that I've gotten laid off from my job of 21 years, with no foreseeable work looming in the near future.

Never owned a fight stick and I'm a fighting game fan through birth. I own them all! King of Fighters 13, Super Street Fighter, SF X Tek, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Mark of the Wolves etc. I've been a pad user all my life, but for the last two years I've been wanting to go with the fight stick. I saw the potential while using them at tournaments like Otakon here in Maryland. At one point I was going to even buy a custom stick with custom art, but wasn't able to. I wanted a Qanba stick, but haven't gotten that yet either. Through PSU, my hope of having a stick is that much closer. It's everything I need. A solid, solid hybrid stick so I can take the ass-whooping to PS3 and Xbox.

Well for one I'm in North America so I'm usually exempt from your contests *cough* competitions, however, more importantly I think it would be extremely kick ass to utilize this stick to pummel opponents with the upcoming .Hack // Versus fighter. Perhaps the single most important reason is that it will be in a prominent position in my home theater setup where it is visible as a piece of tech art, not just a component to break out of a dusty cabinet for the occasional bought of fill in the blank fighter. It actually looks cool!

I need the Eightarc Fusion fightstick so I can finally kick my friends butt in KOF13. We've been playing fighting games since Street Fighter 2 Turbo and we're quite competitive. Up until recently we were around the same skill level in most fighting games until, when we both got KOF13, he purchased his own fightstick. Ever since he bought it he has mopped the floor with me over 90% of the time, able to string combos that are extremely difficult on a regular controller.

I believe that with the Eightarc Fusion I will finally be able to gain back some ground, stop the relentless taunting and, most importantly, take the smug look off his face :)

I need this Eightarc stick in my life because I have been stickless for my whole experience as a competitive fighting game player. I've been going to my friend's house to play on his stick (no homo) but whenever we play against eachother, I am always the one on the pad, causing me to tone down my combo potential and execution. The only sticks I have ever played on were MadCatz TEs and HORI sticks, so it would be awesome to win one of these :D

I need this stick really badly. Me and my cousin have been playing fighting games ever since we could properly grip a controller. The years passed by and eventually we moved on up to arcade sticks. We became extremely competitive as time went on throughout the years and always managed to settle it on either the PS1 or the PS2. Well this past console generation he opted out for an Xbox 360 and of course I stuck with good ol' Sony. Ever since Street Fighter 4 first came out we have been smack talking and boasting our abilities. We have never been able to prove who the better player is due to the fact there hasn't been a compatible fightstick for both the Xbox and the PS3 simultaneously. With this in my arsenal I can finally settle the feud and prove who the better player truly is.

On a side note, my birthday was on the 14th of April and this would make for an extraordinary belated birthday present.

i would like to win the eightarc fightstick because i am a broke college student who's other fightstick is broken. The wire on the triangle button had died out, so basically the stick is useless. I would like to have a dual modded stick, in which i can take it out to tournaments, and not worry about which station is being use at the event. The problem with my local scene is that these events are being held with xbox station while i have a ps3 fightstick;this really discourage me from entering these tournaments. Well well....lets just keep it simple. There are so many amazing fighters out and upcoming soon. I've been trying to play them using the DS3 but dam, the 4 pad buttons plus R1, R2 just doesn't cut it in comparison to the arcade stick 8 (well 6 that you really need for your supers in SFxT). But yeah, been holding off on buying any fighters because DS3 just ain't right :wink:

I was at the doctors the other day and he said, "Lethal, you are going to die soon unless you get yourself a Eightarc Fucsion Fight Stick." I asked him if I could just but some other stick and he said "NO WAY!"

Now I have been playing fighting games since the Street Fighter 1 days. I grew up in the era where arcades were the hot spots to play, so naturally the arcade stick feels like second nature to me.

Now fighters today a great and all, but they are lacking something when using a regular controller. A piece of my inner child is missing and it is killing me. This is when my doctor told me that this stick, and only this stick, will save my inner childhood life.

Why I need the stick in my life? When I got first introduced to MvC2 four years ago, I sucked horribly at it, but for some bizarre reason I fell in love with fighting games. When MvC3 came out I decided to delve deeper and had a better time as it was not nearly as broken as MvC2. Now there's Ultimate with more of my favorite characters. While the game's probably not gonna be dying anytime soon, I want to dive into other games like BlazBlue, SkullGirls and the bunch of Street Fighters out there. At the same time, I want that real arcade experience on a stick that I never had, and being a kid from the 90's. I don't know of any arcades around from where I am, and from what I heard some of them have closed down. While I would gladly pay for my own stick, the rest of my family isn't too well off financially, and I have to start applying for colleges within the year.

Plus the DualShock controller's been giving me some really uncomfortable calluses on my thumbs.

Also just noticed when the contest was going to end, this would make a pretty nice birthday present too (May 26th).

There are a couple of reasons why I could really use this arcade stick. My major reason is that I'm going to be going to college soon, and my school is actually very close to where the fighting game community gathers for Wednesday Night Fights and The Run Back. They run XBOX 360 stations, and I have a PS3 stick. The eightarc stick, being dual modded, would open up these tournaments to me so that I can participate in and contribute to a community that loves fighting games as much as I do. Also, my current financial situations really do not allow for me to go about purchasing one of these sticks on my own. Another reason why I would really enjoy having this stick would be so that I can teach my brother and my cousin how to play games like UMvC3 better. I really think they would be able to understand the game easier if I explained an arcade stick layout to them, and whenever I'm home from school and have a chance to spend some time with them, I'll have two sticks so they will have an opportunity to learn and have some fun with the game. Why I need it in my life?

The first time I saw an Eightarc stick was on Cross Counter and, for me, it was the cool plain black fightstick that I never saw before. That stick got my attention on the spot. I'm not that fond of a lot of the artworks on fightsticks out there, mainly cause, sometimes, the game doesn't appeal to me, or the character just isn't right. But the Fusion? he was just black, plain and simple, the stick, the buttons and nothing more. I don't know what exactly got me, maybe it was my thing for minimalist art, or a fresh concept after so many custom sticks with crazy arts I saw around the net. The thing is, since I saw it for the first time, I want it.

This arcade stick would be the stepping stone for me to enter the Fighting Game Community. I've played and watched games casually since I was little and have never felt more passionate about anything else in my life. From the early 2000s playing Tekken to watching UMvC3 every week, I've always wanted to be a part of that. I may not be good at fighting games or rather I suck at them but I still love them. I need this fightstick so that I can get better at these fighting games or at least feel like I'm playing at the arcades. I've never owned any fightsticks before and having one would be very nice. I've been using a regular a controller since I've started playing fighting games since the PS1 days with Tekken 3 as my favorite one among all of them and Street Fighter 4 as my current one. Regular controller has always been what I've used when playing fighting games and have always found it cumbersome at times so maybe it's time to change that. :P Thanks for the giveaway. :)
