Here's what I got from that poll I took last week. I'm not doing top 25. Too ambitious and not enough votes. But I got a good idea of the top 5....
1. Final Fantasy VII (RPG freaks around here)
2. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Is this the best Metal Gear title?)
3. Dark/ Demon Souls (For some reason, nobody will vote for one or the other.)
4. Call of Duty 4 (Pretty much expected)
5. Resident Evil 4 (I've heard folks gripe that this title moved too far away from the horror/survival genre and had crossed into the action/adventure genre. Apparently, not a problem around these parts.)
I knew FF7 would be at the top of your list.

IMO FFVII is not the best one, X had great gameplay, but i felt IX was the best overall as lovable and goofy as it was. the rest of the main characters are way too fucking emo for my liking

I do not have a top 5 games, I cannot put all the games I like in order because there are too many that do different thing I like.
If the top 5 means hours played thats a diferent story.
1. Half-Life 2 Death match - by a long, long way
2. Gran Turismo 3
3. Perfect Dark
4. Goldeneye
5. Timesplitter 2
Yes I am mostly an FPS gamer.
1. Final fantasy vii, my first ever rpg got me into them
2. Final Fantasy Xi no comment just the best online rpg ever made
3. Gran Turismo set the standard for all racing games even now
4. Goldeneye a classic game that even remaking it cant touch it
5. Halo, yes halo sure i dislike halo games but one cant argue how much the series has changed the shooting genre.
Honourable mentions
1. Pokemon *any* amazingly addictive games
2. Road Rash *just fun*
3. Ultima series *pretty much gave birth to open world rpgs*

It had jaw dropping graphics, it brought in regenerative health, 2 weapon system. *im a console gamer mostly*

Here's my list of games, but would prefer a series list.
1. MGS4 (Along with the entire MGS series released on Sony's console)
2. Pokemon (This include blue, yellow, gold, silver, soul silver and heart gold)
3. Assassin's Creed Revelations (Also includes the other Assassin's Creed games)
4. Total War: Medieval 2 (It includes all the Total War games, it is probably the only games I play on my pc)
5. Uncharted (Again, this include all the Uncharted games, even the vita one!)

Is it sad I have no games listed from this generation? If I extended my list to top 10, then there would be some included. There are only a handful of games that had the "it" factor for me this gen, and I will still play them 5 or even 10 years from now.
