i apologize if there is already a topic on this game.
At the end of GoW it says Kratos will return and if u go into the treasures option at the main menu it would give you a brief story about Kratos's brother and how he will rise from the Depps of Hades and have revenge on his brother. Now my question is will this game be ps2 or 3? it would make since for the ps3 because if they would release gow on the ps2 they would most likely do it in november to help counter and minimize sells of 360 consoles/software, but i havnt seen any reports on it and if it was release in november it would be rushed and end up being a horrible game. so this leads me to believe that it would be developed for the ps3. your opinion?

It will be for PS3 no doubt, and I can guarantee that even if they were to release it for PS2 it would not be out in November. If you watch all of the videos at the end you will come to realize that the Director David Jaffe certainly likes to take his time with games, polishing it to the maximum level. I believe that GoW took 3 years to make?

but, who cares about God of War anyways? it's not online (i.e. LIVE! enabled)
Hope your joking dude, its a great game. Online isn't that great imo, its fun but I get more of an experience out of games that have a rich, deep storyline such as GoW

Yes God of War was one of the best games of its genre if not the best. I prefer this game over DMC3 or Onimusha 3 any day. The Story is well scripted unlike DMC3 which the story is rediculous, but Dante has too be one of the most coolest characters out there. I love that fact that he is so cocky and that makes him quite the humorous one. Back to God of War, i beat the whole game, but not on god mode it was extremely difficult and i didnt want to do it so i didnt get all the extra treasures at the end so i wouldnt know about some of that stuff. I can't wait until part two comes out, i just hope they add in a more variety of weapons this time. Yea casting spells was great but i want Weapons!!!!
GoW is truel a sleeper hit. 'gmae of the year' calibur. of course another game will come out. I expect Sony to take advantage of its success to furthur boost PS3 sales, thus it will be on PS3.
keep in mind that it may verywell end up on PS2. Sony won't stop supporting PS2 after PS3 is launched.

True but do you know how many copies this games sold? Millions my friend. it was on the charts forever. I doubt it would land on the ps2 thou because it is now a major franchise to sony and probably plans on putting this on the ps3 to help boost console sales.
God of War, a game even the likes of Hideo Kojima praised. Yea, Hideo said that to David Jeffe in person that both of them should make a game together ; read Jaffe's blog in the PS3 Discussion section. And don't forget to see the uber cool Hideo Kojima business card either.

The Grand Theft Auto titles have been considered to be some of the best sandbox games yet. GTA3 on PlayStation 2 set the standard for free roaming in a large world, with guns, whores, fast cars, wild missions and a storyline.
Saint's Row put up a good fight when it was released on Xbox 360 last year, but other than that, very little has challenged Rockstar's throne.
Now GTA IV is on the horizon, and we have a new challenger. 2 Days 2 Vegas is due out in 2008, and one of the developer's goals is to make it even more immersive than GTA.
Unfortunately, little is known about either title. But what we can show you is a screenshot comparison. As you'll see below, 2 Days 2 Vegas is a more than worthy competitor...

I aint played any version of God of War before do i need to play them in order?
You don't NEED to but in order to follow the story - you should, it's a great story! Highly recommended that you follow suit, you will NOT be bored.
