Thoughts On This Web Design

I just got finished a rough draft of a website i'm designing for a company. The main content below the header will be modified and i still have to optimize the images as it probably loads a bit slow, but anyway i want to know your thoughts on this and what i should add or change about it.

This is my personal opinion but I don't like the grey colour. The layout is sound, but the colour scheme is dull. I do realise there is a thin line between making a website look classy, and it appearing very tacky or lifeless, it's hard to get the right combination of colours. Other than that, it's sleak and doesn't seem hard to navigate.

I think that if you expand the white box to more of a rectangle it would minimize the grey color that VoAr is talking about...

I think it is great, but my advice is that you fit everything on the page when the screen loads, allowing the viewer to see all information without having to scroll down!

Good flow into the body of the page though...

That would be my only advice...

the "border" should also be made glossy in accordance to the glossy buttons on that site, imo.
