2) After The Fear wheels him out with the meeting with The Boss and Volgin (sp), you can quickly kill him with a shot to the head
3) Sneak up on him and kill him with the shotgun
4) Battle it out with him without using method 3.

Well, in order to get this thread moving again, I can verify that Butcher's answer is correct. That Sephiroth fight was a good challenge and I felt a great sense of accomplishment when I finally beat him. Afterwards, a couple cut scenes take place then Fenrir is in your possession.
So, if you're willing to accept this as proof, then I say Butcher gets the next question.

That is correct! A holy candle lit in the vicinity of the demonic source will slowly drive it away until it is completely gone. Only to come back in a different form the next time you leave your apartment however. :P
