Magic Gate is something Sony made that protects the stuff on it from being copied. It encrypts the files so they cannot be copied.

so, was this feature there but never used by any of the devs or anything?

you get it by beating the boss by stamina kill like using mk22 or use cqc then save then when your back to the main menu youse that load to start a new game and you will have the patriot also a side note:D if you equip it and call signit talks about how its unlimited ammo and asks where you got it can't remember what snake says tho not played mgs3 in a while been tied up with mgs: po

Jump off into the water and keep swimming around to his back under water because you swim faster, climb up his back but be careful not to get shook off when he shakes. Climb on top of his head, take out your sword and go over to his teeth on top of his head, hit one of them to get him to go to the right or the left or straight to one of the platforms. Once he gets close to one of them jump off, but be careful not to get hurt when he shoots at you. When he rares up on his hind legs get your sword out and jump onto his belly and hold on and stab him.
Give me a prize.
