Possible unveiling of the system woul'd be nice for nintendo fans!!!

E3 was practically a no-show. No bloggers so far have come through on big dates for the revolution. What do die-hard fans have left for big Nintendo dates this year?

Spaceworld.

Nintendo has used the August Spaceworld conference in the past to debut new consoles, such as the Game boy advance and Gamecube. Although there hasn't been a conference for four years (the last one, being in 2001, unveiled the Gamecube to hungry fans.

After E3, Nintendo said they would consider a 2005 Spaceworld, and as there hasn't been any news on a cancellation (last year, Nintendo announced there would be no Spaceworld around mid July) there's still hope for such an event.

There's no doubt the Revolution would be big enough to initiate another conference, and as Nintendo claims it's 'all about the fans,' we can only hope there would be such an event.

There's no set date if there was to be a conference, but the 2001 version started around the 24th of August and ran until the beginning of September.

Hmm, for some reason I've never heard of Spaceworld, or maybe just forgot. Well anyways, that would be good if Nintendo finally released some information about the Revolution. Basically we know nothing about the console what so ever, besides the pictures of it, though that's supposed to change later. Though we do know tons of cold hard facts about the controller too.

The lack of info about the Revolution is really starting to get annoying. i don't think that they want people to start losing interest so it would be a good idea to at leat let us know that they are still alive.

lol maybe at E3 everything they did say was a lie. Maybe they said it thinking that sony and MS wouldn't have advanced their systems that much. Maybe their system is really like 40X more powerful than the gamecube and they found a way to make the system insanely small therefore making it revolutionary. Maybe they aren't releasing anything about it because they don't want sony or MS to steal the controller ideas or something.

I think Nintendo holding information is a true "genious" strategy (in my opinion). It gets everyone talking and wondering which builds great hype and speculation.

Sony Computer Entertainment America has responded to recent news that Project Gotham Racing 4 developer Bizarre Creations conceded having problems fitting data on to a single DVD format, insisting that the firm’s decision to invest in the high-definition Blu-ray format is fully justified.

Speaking to Gamesindustry.biz this week, SCEA spokesperson David Karraker stated, "We took a lot of heat at launch for including Blu-ray in PS3. Now it looks like that investment is being justified.â€
