Check out the first two new images on [PlayStation 3 Portal (http://www.ps3portal.com/?page=ps3_pictures)
Both were recentley emailed to me so I thought that I would share them with the world. The first is a great little animation and the second is another PS3 concept - both of which are worth checking out.

Both of those are nice looking concepts, the second one looks a bit like a DVD player and a bit sloppy but is still quite interesting.
i dont like either one of them but thats just me i hope they come out with something slik so you can put it out and it looks cool and not something a 5 year old would play with
Wow pretty nice, the second one is very 'the same' as in you can see it's just a slimmed down PS2 with a hologram, I wonder...wouldn't they think after grey-black-they'd go a different color? I also have a few flaws with the second one not being true, due to HD capacity unless it was a laptop 2.5" :? And plus it has 2 ports, we would so die if it had 2 ports...lol
Overall I really like the hologram stating that it's a PS3 and it's on...=D
The first one however...I can't see it ;_;
Yea. I need to figure out why it's not apperaing in FF or Netscape. Should work in IE though. :?

Except for the fact it looks like it would be a big console, that is a pretty sweet design.

PS3-XTRA!!!! It's 'everything' in one the 2nd edition, how smart of them! Hard Drive, TV Tuner everything!

That looks very much like the existing Sony Blu-ray recorder (SONY BDZ-S77).

My guess is that, the idea was obtained from the BDZ-S77.
Yea it was based on a blue ray recorder. Quite possibly the one above from the looks of it.

Heres an idea that I designed. Its obviously based on PS2 and the Roman numeral III (3) for obvious reasons.

Heres another one I came up with. This one fits more into sony's current "hourglass figure" style. Suprisingly, this is the first one I'v seen that contains basic DVD/CD controlls.

The one on the based on the blue ray is quite good, the one above is ...in my opinion... is crowded and tacky at best, sorry! :?
The one above is actually quite nice looking in my opinion, I defintally couldnt forsee that design concept ever happening but it is still a really nice look. However, somewhat of a more circular shape instead of the typical squares and retanguls is something I'd like to see Sony pursue. The only problem is you'd want the system to be fairly compact so it'd be difficult to fit all the hardware into this small circular area.

Still like that one made by the college student. That circular one, that's by far my favorite, I also liked the first one, looks more like an entire entertainment center, the rest looked silly, but I did think the mushroom shaped one was clever.
I want to see a design in corporating the EyeToy cause I don'texactly remember where I heard it, but Sony said something about that. I think theres a thread around here somewhere, I'll keep looking but in the meantime, can someone help me out and design one? I'll try my best at it on a tablet PC with the stylus.
The second one is the best concept ive seen so far. I love the silver look. I do hope though that despite which design they use the PS3 will have 4 ports and not only 2.
Apparently Sony has decided that SingStar needs to make one last stop on the PlayStation2 before moving onto the next-generation, and in the form of SingStar Anthem. SingStar Anthem is currently slated to launch August 4th in the UK, with no plans for a US release.

Kohei, sorry to be a party pooper but Lik-Sang went under because Sony won their lawsuit they filed long ago about Lik-sang's Europe imported grey market PSPs.
