yeah i couldn't get it to work. said 'error downloading codec' or something like that.
Those music visuals are amazing.
There's a point where they seem to take a human shape dancing.
Also the GUI look and feel is absolutely beautiful.

The GUI looks cheezy, looks like you are FORCED to OWN a windows media center to use windows media center, hell its a xbox360 with a harddrive you SHOULDNT need a media center..

I deleted your post because all you said was that it was Useless, hence your post was useless.
You don't "need" a media center PC to work with Xbox360. The only thing you need that for is the Windows Media Center Connect fucntionality. Mainly TV playback from your PC through your Xbox360 to your TV. Anything else (music, video, etc...) you can do through the so called "useless" dashboard.

How exactly would making the dashboard open source bring any benefit to it at this point?
Look at it. It is simple and fast. For everything you see there, it is only 3mb in size. I hate to say it, but I have yet to see any open source UI that is close to being that slick and that compact and that useful.

Who's throwing words in your mouth?
And of course some things are going to be useless to some people, but you need to try to cover all your bases, which is what Microsoft did.
As for "whatever microsoft wants" thats pretty much what you got with PS2, PS1, or any other console so far. Thats how it works, your going to get the software that the company made, not something else. How many people used linux for PS2? Not many. So, how much of an effect is that going to have on the PS3? Not much. The point, is to make a system that works for everyone, that way you don't need to have an open source system to cover up for all your mistakes, but I guess Sony would rather take the easy way out. Oh well, not my problem.

Okay people , lets not hold hands just yet . I've already seen a japanese video about the Xbox 360 GUI Dashboard thingy and so far i find it OK . It's not exactly blowing up my skirt either .
Besides , we have yet to see what Sony has to offer in this area .
GUI looks very nice, sorta Apple-ish feel to it, very clean i must say

As usual, this guy's just randomly talking stupid things about everything he can on the x360.
Nothing that was seen here is useless, a Media Center on the x360 out of the box is the best thing I've seen in Appz for a Console. Being able to play your music from your PSP, Usb stick, PC or laptop is amazing, and very, very useful, don't even get me started with the videos and movies you can access from your bed with your wireless controller in your TV, while at the same time you can chat to other people, check the Xbox Live, watch the most impressive music visuals around, transfer your pictures from a USB camera and make an slideshow with a music background by pressing a few buttons, and then if you want, play the most impressive games around...
It looks clean, fast, intuitive, easy and comfortable, and I feel safe to say that I'm not out of a fan heart but expressing what I've seen here.

Looks pretty kewl...nice and clean.
I think Media Center is a nice addition, I wouldn't pay for it though, I would like it if it was free (if it isn't). I would've bought an Xbox if online was free.

The terminology grates on me a little too (I can barely bring myself to use the word "gamer" in reference to myself these days, because I can no longer imagine that word without it imagining it being delivered in a laconic southern californian drawl).
However, some of the features, and the GUI itself look very clean and intuitive.

Yeah, this is starting to look very slick, i can't really judge it before i actually use it (which may be never :( ) but from what i see Microsoft has made somthing good even better, hopfully this will set an example for Sony and get them moving.
That's totally worth to you, if PS3 charges for online, I'm not paying, doesn't matter how good it is. I already pay enough for my cable connection as it is. I'll just play PC games online for free...

Thats what I love about Xbox Live. I have had it for years, and haven't paid a cent. I've had about a year and 4 months from free trials, and I bought another year subscription($70 total) that came with a game($50) and a headset($20). It's like I paid nothing(in terms of online pay) and yet I still get the best online service out there. Not a bad deal. Not a bad deal at all.

hey if it was a charge for 1 game i would understand but last time i checked there was a cdx gameshark for ps2 and no way to patch glitchs. every game has glitches but XBL takes the money you pay...
Two Worlds could possibly be headed to the PlayStation 3.
In an exclusive interview, the developers stated their love for the title and how they are hoping to really make sure users enjoy it on the 360/PC. When questioned about the possibility of a PS3 version, the developers stated, "there is a possibility!"
In Two Worlds, Aziraal, the god of war, was slain in the huge battle long ago. As a result hordes of Orcs were affected, who in dismay were forced to withdraw to the southern wastelands. Thousands of years later, the location of Aziraal's tomb is still unknown, hidden by the gods who dared not entrust humans with the secret. Despite this, a silent war began when a temple was uncovered. As a result, one of the Two Worlds will remain.
The response was definitely not an evasive one, and gives a ray of hope for those PlayStation 3 Oblivion-type game lovers who were hoping Two Worlds would hit the PS3 in some form or continuation.

wait on this. I emailed my contact at Top Ware for official confirmation. I know the game is coming to the PS3....I just don't know if I can use his past comments.
Add to it that Two Worlds wont be coming to the PS3...that Two Worlds : The Temptation will.
Gamestop is already taking preorders.

for approval. One of these titles will be "Two Worlds - The Temptation". We
are confident that Sony will like our titles, but before we announce a title
we require the title approval from SCEA and SCEE.
