I really liked that movie actually. Stephen King said he wished he ended his book in the way the movie did. One of the few horror type movies in the last 5 years or so I've thoroughly enjoyed.
I agree. The ending was great. The film itself was actually not too bad compared to some recent "horror" films.

Sherlock Holmes
9.5/10
I loved this film, Downey did an excellent job, and played the part rather well. The plot was good, there was some humor mixed in, and the way everything is laid on the table, per say, at the end is always an outstanding way to end a great movie.

Decent Vampire flick.

Much better than An American Crime. You feel for the victim and what she goes through. It's disturbing, shocking and you constantly wonder how this could have happened. Stays quite true to the real story. Watch this
Donkey Punch - 4/10
Lot of crap tbh. A few good scenes though if you catch my drift *wink wink*

100% with you
I read the book & it ended on a ambiguous but BAD END is certain deal (they kept driving with no end in sight of the mist & main character noting that eventually they would have to stop and someone had to go outside to gas up the truck)
Law Abiding Citizen 7/10
Great movie but the ending rather killed it for me
I know its an older movie but surfing the tv I got to see Crash let me tell you I see why this movie won so many awards. it was simply brillant. My new fav 4th movie of all time. 10/10 I suggest everyone see it. buying it on dvd tommorow so i can watch entire thing.

I hate open ended endings like that to no....end!
I dont want to say its laziness on the part of the author but there is almost always a better ending that can be left besides leaving the conclusion "open to your imagination"

I don't understand how this movie didn't get a wide release. It's a good movie and feels very fresh. It's a bit freakish but that's the point of it. Some nice black humor and it felt like it mocks the genre a bit. Nicolas Cage was great
The Skeleton Key - 7/10
The movie is quite interesting and suspenseful, the ending shocks. Kate Hudson is lovely

I just noticed that I didn't watch the director's cut, which certainly is better. Nonetheless I really liked the movie and it had a great cast. Stallone should have done more movies/roles like this

How to Train your Dragon- B+
Great film, the trailers they aired in movie theaters made the movie seem promising but the commercials I've been seeing on T.V. are among the worst I have ever seen. But I heard nothing but great things about the movie so I decided to watch it, and I highly recommend it. The first 30 minutes aren't great but after that it kicks off into a really memorable film, definitely Dreamworks best and best looking. :p
Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children. Per-Fect movie! hey I've never played any of the FF games, It's kinda funny that they called the games Final Fantasy and they reached 13 now.

Clash of the Titans - 5/10
The film proved to be a major let down, within' the first two minutes the film sped to conflict without truly establishing characters or the chemistry behind them. The action scenes which proved to be the majority of the film were everything short of spectacular. Everything in the movie was down right predictable and anti-climatic, which can be said for just about every battle scene. The acting was satisfactory, but you can only do so much to assist a poorly written script.

This one could've been put off. Wasn't very good, didn't enjoy it much at all . 4.5/10
Der Untergang - 10/10
I especially liked the fact that the entire movie was in German. It added a huge sense of realism to it, considering the entire thing was about Hitler's last stand against the Russians invading Berlin. As expected, there were some pretty gruesome moments in the movie that many would deem disturbing, but all-in-all it was fantastic.
It also added a bit of comedy, since it's the movie where the "angry Hitler" meme started.

Clash of The Titans - 6.75/10
The only way serious viewers will appreciate this movie is for what it intends to be, not what they want it to be. It's only somewhat concerned with being completely an accuracy piece, compromising itself with humor, and popcorn scenes to make it more "fun". As far as I'm concerned, it held back the movie from being something truly great. As it stands, it is a decent action movie with great CGI and battle scenes, but overall it wasn't anything special.

Extremely powerful story on the basis of racism in the late 70's with an extraordinary Denzel Washington.
'The Informant' - saw an ad on the TV for this so I thought I'd check it out because the segment they showed looked pretty funny, and Matt Damon is a good actor.
But crikey! It was really boring! Maybe it'll appeal to the right crowd, but I guess I'm not part of that crowd.
Some bits were funny, but these weren't very frequent at all. I think one of the best parts for me was the text that appears at the very start, as well as some of the situations Matt Damon gets in to, and the music overall was pretty striking
Overall, 2/10.

Bad Lieutenant - I really cannot be straightforward enough when it comes to this movie. If I expressed my opinion concerning it openly, it'd probably result in my banning from the forums.
The story was somewhat interesting, but, where sexual scenes are rather interesting, it was a bit over the top at times. The music was off, and made potentially great scenes seem rather idiotic and unimportant.
Also the implementation of the odd animals when the lieutenant was high seemed like a pore filler for things that could have been much more interesting.
Had the creators of the movie taken out some of the foolish aspects they did, and made the movie more serious like (I think) the movie should have been, it would be pure excellence. Considering that was not done, though:

well 5/10 isn't that bad. And the foolishness or however you describe it is what makes the movie so unique. I really liked the unserious undertone and how it mocks all the genre and the cliches. Without it, it would have been your typical cliché cop movie. What we have now is a unique and fresh movie. But I agree that this isn't a movie for everyone.

I loved the plot. It was obvious to me at times how the story would unravel, but then it hits you again in the end. It was a subtle hit, however. THIS!!! on my vaio :drool. LMAOROFL i was eagerly awaiting to ding it for being old and not up to date...BUT the first screen....before the movie even started was super sharp! and then the Lord of the Rings Logo came up, and the movie followed lol it just continued to get better, until....
it looked as if some of the editing was done in paint.....yes im looking at u dark rider with a black spay can plastered on ur face:roll: i'll try to get a pic.....
so i'd give it a 9.9 out of 10 for that reason
^ I'd like to see that picture!
Last movie I saw was also Sherlock Holmes. I was entertained, and I did enjoy it. Wrath summarized it pretty well. It has good pacing, acting, plot, and interesting characters. I'd give the movie a solid 8.5/10.

WinDVD seems to not like screen shots and fraps, or any other sort of picture making device short of my own physical camera.....but thats no where to be found atm :|
however i can give the times it occurs....47 mins 6 seconds and again at 48 mins 26 secs.
maybe Arkano can confirm :D
poor editing not taking into account the fog floating around the dark riders(nazgul?) face so the result is a black blob where the face should be.....trying to hide the face mask of the actual actor. thats all it really is  but its pretty obvious in HD so i gotts to ding it .01 of a point :p
if i manage to get a screenie if happily notify u :D

With you being a girl and all, i'm just going to assume you have an opinion on romantic comedies and judging by your overall movie ratings, your opinions on movies in general seems to be pretty good. Iron Man 2 is an extremely satisfying sequel on all accounts. While the original film is probably slightly better, the sequel does everything right and doubles up on everything in comparison; action, strong characters, teases for upcoming Marvel films, etc. Despite some of its early negative criticism, Iron Man 2 delivers a worthwhile sequel with a fantastic cast and spectacular action.

I just got to have kick-@s* on Blu-ray. That was a movie with humor, GREAT action. Action, which I have hard to like, worked really well in this movie. Take that Lucy Lawless! :)
The humor also mixes with tragic and utter violence at the same time most of the movie.

I give it a solid 9/10.

Robin Hood - 8/10
Great acting, great action, and great pacing. The biggest downfall is that Robin Hood has been done so many times, people know the story inside and out. Thankfully this takes a new twist, but we all still know the ending.
I'm glad to see this turned out better than I thought, especially after Iron Man 2 but it's still not as powerful as Ridley's previous works, probably cause those were original stories and this was a re-hash.
I was OK with King John's final speech, but his decision to condemn Robin Hood still felt limp. It seemed like Ridley or the writer's threw that in to link this movie with the following story of Robin Hood as an outlaw.
On a final note, could this movie win Best Make-Up and/or Best Costume in the 2011 Oscars? It's probably too early to tell, but I think it could at least get a nomination.

Along Came A Spider - 9/10
Morgan Freeman is great in any movie he acts in. This movie keeps you guessing right til the very end. Full of action, drama, and suspense. It is one of my top favorites of all time.

Robin Hood - 6/10
Not really my favourite genre but it was pretty decent. The strongest aspect certainly was the set design.

AHA! TOLD YOU! HA! VIVA LA RIDLEY SCOTT!!!
Oh yeah and Kick ***- 8/10 and I'm being rather generous. I wasn't quite into the comic the film makes me even less into it, but the acting was solid (Mark Strong is great as always). The shootouts were well done, especially considering the budget, the narrative was tight, no holes or things that stood out was horribly flawed, beyond the whole 12 year old killing machine. It moved along at a fine speed and the protagonist was oddly relate-able and entertaining, you really rooted for him.
Still think the overall world is rubbish, the twelve year old turned mass murdering vigilante still rubs me the wrong way, and Nicolas Cage is still Nicolas Cage. But as I said 8/10.

Star Trek- B+
I had tried watching this a few months ago and really wasn't in the mood that day so I turned it off 1/3 of the way. So I just finished watching it and loved it. I don't know about it getting an Oscar nomination as I had heard some suggest but it certainly was a great film in the growing JJ Abrams library. Can't wait for the sequel!

What nominations did you hear about?

The Postman - 7.5/10
What's so bad about this movie? It's certainly no masterpiece and it has some flaws but there is no reason that this movie and Kevin Costner got trashed to death by the critics. He did a great job with an uneven screenplay and the movie's messages were pretty realistic.

Iron Man 2: Was enjoyable, RDJ and the Hammer guy both were excellent, the robot fights were cool, so I was satisfied. :p
Robin Hood - 8/10
Was better than i expected... but annoying at how they obviously made the whole thing thinking about a sequel...
