Memories of Murder - 8/10
Solid movie I was just a bit disappointed with the ending, which I guess isn't their fault because its a true story.

Easy A 7/10
It was A-OK!. Emma Stone is smoking hot in this.
Dark Knight - 9/10
I finding this to be the opposite of Twilight for me. First time I saw Twilight I liked it, but every time I watch it again, I find more things I don't like about it. Whereas every time I watch Dark Knight I find more stuff I like about it. It has definitely grown on me.
Green Zone - 8/10
Really like it. Seen it a few times now.

Hellraiser 8/10
Wow, this movie is ****ED UP! But that's a real horror classic. Compared to horror today, horror movies in the 80's were the best and most goriest..it's all CGI today, nothing believable anymore, but Hellraiser is one messed up movie. Don't watch if you have a weak stomach. It's a little slow-paced, actually very slow paced in some parts, but the Pinhead scenes and the Hellish looking creature, man that **** would give me nightmare if I was a kid and I watched this now. Definitely don't watch this with your gf unless she likes horror.
EDIT:
THOR: 10/10
Is it just me. Nah, it's not just me, it's a FACT that it's a great year for Marvel. Thor was such an epic comic-book film. Played on all the right notes, like Iron Man did. The action scenes are epic and the 3D is actually really good in some scenes and well worth my money, but it's up to you. Loved the CGI, especially at the end credits, with the 3D effect, it blows your senses away. Anthony Hopkins pimpin' his acting game, as usual. Natalie Portman, sexy and cute, as usual. Chris Hemsworth was made for this role like how Rob Downey was made for Tony Stark/Iron Man. Odin is awesome, dude can seriously play and pull it off! Green Latern has a lot to live to. I'm still LOL'ing hard at the CGI costume. Thor has CGI in it, and probably some of the creatures are CGI, but I feel they could have easily made a prop outfit for Green Lantern. Oh and stay after the credits!
You crazy fool?!?!?! That's definitely a 10/10 film. A classic Van Damme flick. pfffft.
Seriously, I think it's an awesome film.
A van damme flick with a perfect rating? you should be ashamed.
11:14 6.5/10: For some reason after the first half of the movie i was just hoping it would end, the concept was cool but i just didn't like the end result that much.
The corner(mini series) 9/10: i know this isn't a movie but since its a 6 part mini series i thought it fit this thread, a true story about a family living in Baltimore and their struggle when it comes to drug addiction.

Thor - 7/10 - Not nearly as much of a tragedy as my friends and I were expecting. Loki's story was good and Mjolnir had some good weight to it, felt nicely powerful. Chris played Thor pretty much spot on. The parts that bugged me was the dutch angle shots in the beginning of the film and the whole conversation between thor and the shield agent... really not sure why those were angled, especially the conversation which really threw me off. I started to wonder if Brannagh watched Battlefield Earth before shooting.
The first fight sequence was bigger than the last one. Throws off the climax of the movie a bit.
P.S. Less CG would be nice... wishful thinking, I know.

LOL, I thought of the Schumacher Batman films when I saw those angled shots. But Battlefield Earth is an even better example. But what's your favorite marvel movie so far? One that would give a 10/10?

Oh wait... maybe blade (probably not that high still)? Haven't seen the original in a long-*** time.

The Green Hornet - 7.5/10
It was fun.
Thor - 8.5/10
I'm not going into details; but I enjoyed almost everything in this movie. The humor, acting, Loki, etc. I liked this movie a lot, especially the cameo by Hawk-Eye and references to the other Avengers. My only complaints is that it could have used a little more action in the climax battle and on Earth when:
Thor takes on the guardian.
But yeah, it's great. The movie got me more hyped for Captain America.

Thor - 8/10
This movie had everything except a truly satisfying ending sequence, which seems to be the case with most super hero movies for some reason.
But yeah, Hemsworth did a perfect job with Thor. I loved the comedic side as well. It's always good when a movie doesn't take itself too seriously.
Actually, the entire cast did a good job. You can always count on Anthony Hopkins.

Thor - 7.5/10
Another solid superhero flick from Marvel. They have been on a roll since the first Iron Man (minus that Wolverine movie). =)
The issue I had, though, was that as great as the CGI was, or as clever the story was, or as hot as Natalie Portman always is, the biggest fight scenes were the most uninteresting parts of the movie. I guess the overblown CGI made way for lack of choreography and/or quality set pieces. I felt no tension or suspense. They just came and went in their usual flair and predictability. The more intimate scuffles (like, say, the action scenes with the Gatekeeper) or the parts with no fights at all made for the most interesting moments. Speaking of which (and on a slightly unrelated note), I liked The Gatekeeper more than any other character. Odd.
The 3D was really good, though. I'm beginning to think movies with sci-fi elements and seeing it in IMAX (i.e.; exceptional picture & sound) do it the most justice. I still say 3D is remarkably pointless, though.
Because the movie is part of a series.
I should have been more clear. I wasn't talking about the story, but rather the last action sequence. The Incredible Hulk is really the only super hero movie of the this super hero golden age with a really satisfying, climactic battle. Iron Man 1 wasn't bad in that aspect though.

Raging Bull, 10/10 absolutely. Machete is really fun like Ixion said. It's _super_ campy, over-the-top and a great homage to grindhouse cinema. It has Danny Trejo who can do no wrong, and a hilarious performance by DeNiro.

Fun. I dig on old school Kung Fu films, especially Shaw Brothers stuff (like 36th Chamber of Shaolin).
OK, my own review:
Finally got around to seeing Black Swan. It's beautiful, dark, erotic ... shot perfectly (DA is a genius in my book), Portman is out of this world, +far+ better than we expected. Also a big fan of Vincent Cassel who's does an amazing job of being attractive and repulsive anytime he's on camera. Even Meg does a perfect job (just terrific casting all around )

Fast Five - 8/10 - The score may drop a bit after this high wears off... it's filled with guy flick cliches but the vault carnage was sooooo good. Lin put weight into all the action and it hit me just right. The opening had a gripping heist, the middle brought in familiar faces and some fun humor, and the end was total destruction. Nice.
A street racing franchise that has the least of that action and I didn't care. He may have just outdone Bay in terms of just being a pure action flick, we'll have to see.

Really interested in this one. It comes close to my vision where the movie is set billions of years into the future, and it just so happens that in that year, the universe is expected to end in the big chill, the big freeze or the reverse effect big-bang..no one knows how, but they do know it will end..and as the movie goes..everyone starts dealing with the fact that they're gonna die..we'll see the true side of human nature, but at the same time, people will try to unite together so they don't like savages..then at the end credits..the screen fades to black..and we see a tiny light or star pop up..which hints at a new big bang..another chance for the universe, and later, biological life to spring up from the bacterial pool again
Dog Day Afternoon - 10/10
Jeez, what a great movie. I love how it jumps right into the robbery and doesn't let you go until the end. This also might be Al's best performance.
The Missing - 8/10
My only real knock on this film is that it may be a tad longer than it needed to be. I thought all the acting was very good, and the story itself was quite compelling (and after a little reading, VERY realistic of the Southwest at the time). I hadn't even heard of this film and just happened to DVR it the other night. Definitely worth a watch if you like westerns/period dramas, and it has some satisfying shoot-out action scenes.

You're missing the point. If you were to create another thread, specifically for that movie, then people would talk about it. The number of posts your thread would receive is irrelevant though. It's all about staying on-topic and in this thread we talk about rating the last movie we've seen. The movie you're talking about has yet to be released.

The idea of the thread is to discuss movies we've watched and reviewed, but I am still talking about movies, which relates to the word in the thread title, movies. And yes, my own thread with posts is relevant. It won't get so many pages like this, and there have been others here that have gone off topic, but I didn't see them get crucified for it. The House of the Devil - 9/10
One of the best horror films I've seen. It's an indie film that was made a couple years ago. But beware, it's very slow-paced, without many scares. However, I like my horror movies to focus on atmosphere, suspense, and build-up, which this did to a great degree.
Also, the main actress was ridiculously cute...

and there have been others here that have gone off topic, but I didn't see them get crucified for it.
Maybe it's because those "off-topic" discussions were still relevant as they were related to the movies and the people who made them. That's the key word here "made", as in already released, as in a movie that can be rated. The occasional "what goes into a movie that makes it great" discussion by RedDragon7 and that Stewie guy is also relevant because those discussions usually stem from a rating or short review. But we can't give the movie you're talking about a rating because it has yet to be released. You can still talk about it in another thread though. I'm just letting you know that. So please don't overreact.
And last I checked, I contributed to this thread almost in every post.
Yes, almost...
So how about you two cut me some slack?
Nuvian was just asking you a question. I'm just making sure you understand. So, yeah, that's all I'm going to say.
OK, perhaps we should just make an "Official Upcoming Movie Thread". Thoughts?
Well... I'm kind of puzzled by all this, if your looking forward to a movie why not just make a damn thread so you can discuss it with others?
There is a whole forum section about entertainment, and there you will find threads about different movies, bands, songs and TV shows, is it really so hard to make a thread about a movie your looking forward to? whats the point having this thread at all if people will just throw in random posts about movies that aren't even out yet?
Like the title states, rate the last movie you've seen. Whether it was in theaters, on dvd, or maybe a TV movie. Let others know what you think of it so we know whether to spend our time/money on it. Try not to give anything away though.
That is the post made by the creator of this thread back in 2006.

To me it didn't really feel like a fluid story. It seemed fragmented. Above all else though it had a poorly drawn out love story. Even if the movie held true to the comics then I guess I'm bashing the comic too.
Also, poor 3D. It was a joke. I should have asked for me $3 back. Next time I see a "real3D" movie and there's more 3D in the end credits and the paramount/studio logo then I'm asking for my $3 back.

Maybe it's because those "off-topic" discussions were still relevant as they were related to the movies and the people who made them. That's the key word here "made", as in already released, as in a movie that can be rated. Let me stop you right there because you're clearly insulting my intelligence, as in my IQ, as in my sense of what a previously released movie is. See, I can be a smart-*** too.
I dont quite understand what about this is so hard to comprehend. And what part of my post where I said it wouldn't get far, did you not understand? A thread is created for discussion, and that discussion should continue for pages and pages till the mods shut it down or the site goes out of business. Prime example is this thread.
Nuvian was just asking you a question. I'm just making sure you understand. So, yeah, that's all I'm going to say. So by making me "understand", you need to talk to me like an ***-hole?
Why don't I make a bet with you two? Not as funny...got all serious. Turned into a Disney comedy by the end.
Raiders of the Lost Ark - 8/10
I haven't seen any of the Indy films. I've been putting them off for far too long. This was a good movie though. Solid adventure flick. They clearly ripped off Uncharted though.
Lol. Make sure you also watch:
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Miss out Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull if you don't want to see them destroy the franchise.

Drive Angry: 4/10
The only thing I liked about it was the hot girl who has a not believable southern accent and the guy who plays Death. Horrible CGI in some parts were I spilled my drink of laughter because it looked like a videogame. Horrible green screen scenes too. I'm glad I didn't pay to see it in theaters. The only Nic Cage film I'm looking forward to is the Ghost Rider reboot. Oh and LOL @ the pompadour wig guy.
Watched it last night and somewhat agree with your rating.

Ehh, it was OK. Don't know what else to say.
Green Hornet: 3/10. Seth rogan should stick to comedy. I bet Nicolas cage would've done this a lot better.

BASEketball: 7/10
Gets a little lame at times, but the jokes are still funny today. The cheerleaders were smokin!
Thinking of seeing, but I dunoo if I wanna pay that much for a ticket for a less than 1 and half hour movie. Every action movie to me has to be over 2 hours. Then it's worth it. I know that sounds vague, but the run time for Priest is way too short.
Jennifer's Body starring Megan Fox as the leading actress. I would give it 5 out of 10 because the movie is not good and not entertaining but I am delighted how sexy Megan Fox is. LOL.
I watched Caroline the second times yesterday,I admire the film mostly because it is good to look at. Selick is as unconventional in his imagery as Gaiman is in his writing, and this is a movie for people who know and care about drawing, caricature, grotesquerie and the far shores of storytelling. In short, you might care little about a fantasy, little indeed about this story, and still admire the artistry of it all, including an insidious score by Bruno Coulais, which doesn't pound at us like many horror scores, but gets under our psychic fingernails.

The Day The Earth Stood Still - 6/10
This sci-fi movie had potential. And then halfway through the movie you already get a good idea of what's going to happen next. I thought Keanu Reeves, being so calm and collected, was the perfect role for Klaatu though. It's just that there aren't a whole lot of surprises in the movie -- especially the ending. The special effects are really nice in most scenes. But it doesn't change the fact that The Day The Earth Stood Still suffers a lot from its writing. Maybe I'm being too generous with the score.

Zombieland - 8/10
Such an awesome film. There was some top acting from Eisenberg, Harrelson and Stone and the film in general had just the right mix of comedy, action and drama. My only complaint is it could've been a bit longer but that's just my opinion.

Hancock is getting a sequel? Considering how the first one ended, how could it possibly be good?
I was pleasantly surprised by Hancock myself. Heard really bad things about it. But yeah, the best part is when he's a screw up.
Yup, it wasn't bad, but let's be honest...the worst parts are whenever he isn't screwing up. I heard Hollywood stepped in last minute and butchered the original storyline. It explains a lot about the dramatic, unnecessary transition the movie suffers from.
This should ring a bell to anyone who has seen it. It started off being a great movie but then the plot changes out of nowhere.

I have watched a lot of movies over the last week so I'll rate them all.
Despicable Me- 9/10. Classic movie and shockingly heartfelt. Very smart also. Piranha and Squid Guns were perfect.
Megamind- 4/10. Will Ferrell is hilarious but in this he had terrible dialogue. Overall it just bored me senseless.
Rio- 7-10. Will.I.Am and Tracy Morgan were the best parts of this entire movie and thats not saying a lot because 1 is a rapper. It was worth watching but could have been a lot better.
How to train your dragon- 10/10. Absolutely classic which shocked me because I don't normally love dragon movies. My favorite line is "Oh I'm hurt. I'm very much hurt."
And finally the last and the worst by far. A movie titled Dead Dudes in the House- 2/10. The reason it got a 2 is because the murdering old woman (yes a bunch of teenagers were killed by an elderly woman on a cane) talked exactly like Yoda. 20 minutes of the movie was spent trying to break down a random door and the acting was horrible. An example of this is 1 of the teens (a chick, yes it goes against the title) but she was pulling on a door then busted it inward. Need I say more?
Attack the Block - 10/10
Absolutely brilliant cinema. Most fun I've had at the cinema in ages. You really grow attached to the young 'hoodies' by the end. The aliens are very good too as you're only aware of their glow in the dark teeth and jet black fur. Would defo see again and a must buy on Blu-ray.

Thor 7/10
I thought how the tied Thor into Shield/ The Avengers was kinda weak. I also didn't like how they sort of stranded the people of Asgard in Asgard. But I did love everything else especially the Destroyer. And the actor who did Thor did an amazing job. There were tons of Thor moments that might of been dumb or annoying in print but on the big screen they were pure gold.
Undisputed II: Last Man Standing 7/10: (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443676/) Good fighting movie, not as good as the 3rd in the franchise though.
Date Night 7/10: (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1279935/) an above average comedy.

Its a really good revenge movie, its really crazy. Two students killed their teachers daughter and theres a japanese law that if you do it while under 14 you get a slap on the wrist. So the teacher sets out to make them pay in her own way since the law cannot. Its not a murder mystery like the trailer makes it seem, you find out who the killers are in the first 20 minutes in a very well written classroom scene. check it out its brilliant

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - 7/10
Solid flick. Jack Sparrow delivers the laughs once again. But yes, it didn't quite feel as fun or exciting as the others. I don't know if it's because of the new director or the lack of certain characters. It could just be the law of diminishing returns. Still, I enjoyed it though.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - 6/10 - They need Gore Verbinski back. This director isn't as good with the comedy. There were about 3 Sparrow moments that worked, the rest just missed their mark. I guess they were trying to turn the Catholic guy and the mermaid into characters but I really didn't get much out of their supposed "love" after that happened within about 15 minutes. Too rushed. The Spaniards seemed thrown in like they wanted a third side to this thing and didn't get that connection (probably part of the plot that I tuned out).
And for "a Pirate all Pirates fear"....
Blackboard had THE shortest lifespan out of them all. His powers kinda helped but his death was just too whimsical to feel much weight. It's not that he needs to be in three more movies to outrank the other villains the franchise had but so far Davey Jones definitely had more impact than Blackboard. Especially with the daughter thing that gave Blackbeard a soft side.
Probably won't be bothering with this movie for a while again... maybe a second watch will gab me more, but doubtful...

It was another Pirates movie.... enjoyable, well scripted, great lighting and always of high quality in pretty much all areas.
I would love if they made a series of God of War movies with the same standings but of course with lots of violence and adult themes. (Spartacus style)

Drive Angry - 8/10. The CG and writing can be pretty bad, but honestly, it was very entertaining and I do like it when movies try to be over the top but not making the movie serious, so it's fine.
There were rumors that if this Pirates did well enough, Disney would green light another two-part filming, similar to Dead Man's Chest and At World's End. And of course, it's done remarkably well once again.
However, Johnny Depp said that he would only do more Pirates movies if they were each special. If they went ahead with releasing them a year apart, he won't do it. And I don't think Disney would do a Pirates film without Jack Sparrow.
So it should be interesting to see what they do. I'm guessing they'll just work on one movie at a time. I can't complain. I know some people are already sick of them, but I think Pirates is the perfect "fun" summer blockbuster. Action, comedy, adventure, tropical setting, etc.

The mum, Vera Farmiga, was uber hot though, so it was watchable.
I Saw the Devil - 9/10
Gory and crazy. Overall, I enjoyed it thoroughly and might watch it again before I return it to Netflix.

Been watching alot of movies the last 2-3 days.
The Expendables: 6.5/10 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1320253/)
Better then i thought it would be, i haven't seen a movie with Dolph Longren since he-man, i was hoping to avoid his bad acting skills til the day i died.
Just Go with It: 6/10 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1564367/)
Im a big adam sandler fan but Grown Ups and this movie have been his worst movies to date (sadly).
Orphan: 8.5/10 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1148204/)
One of the best horror/mystery movies ive seen the last few years.
Running Scared: 9.5/10 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1148204/)
Watched it again some hours ago, wow... what a gem this movie is, so underrated, if it had the tarantino name as director/writer it would have gotten more recognition/cult status.
The Man from Nowhere: 9/10 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1527788/)
South Korea has become my favorite maker of non English spoken movies, this and i saw the devil are on top of that list, awesome thriller/action with alot of heart.
Watching the Detectives: 7.5/10 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0472205/)
A very different romantic/comedy then the typicalHollywoodd romcom, worth a watch :)

Melancholia. Pretty great movie, would maybe even call it brilliant. Some messed up people like in all Trier movies and Dunst did a surprisingly great job of being that. Gainsbourg was also great, really all of the actors except the kid were, damm child actors, either you get a kid who can act or you don't have them in your movies.
Very beautiful movie, good soundtrack and just very nicely put together. A bit slow but if you don't mind that you should really watch it.

Anybody see the Hangover Part II Yet?
I heard it is pretty much exactly like the first movie, just in a different setting and a bit darker. The theater I went for the midnight showing of Kung Fu Panda 2, I was the only person in the 2D showing, other than 2 two people because The Hangover Part II theaters were full. And from what I can tell, I was pretty much older than all the people that went to see that movie. Even some teenagers did the Fandango thing to get around the age thing for the movie. I know they did that because I saw the papers and I did it when I was younger as well.

Some dumb dialogue in some parts that made no sense. Tea Leoni is ****ing smoking hot in this movie. Had trouble not having a boner when I saw her. Especially that bed scene with her legs and feet up..omg. I'd say I enjoyed the sequel way more.

It premiered here yesterday (Denmark). Apparently it's first out in the US in like november for some reason, but it will be well worth the wait imo.
I attempted to write a small review for it so just going to copy pasta that from screeened.
rier shows us the end of the world and it's beautiful. As most of Triers movies there is a main plot which can seem a bit slow and not like it isn't going anywhere and then there is the below the surface plot of the characters.
This movie does in many ways remind me of anti christ, it starts with a lot of brilliant slow motion shots all covered with great music trying to make things like cutting some wood be dramatic but also showing the end of the movie.
It's a personal story of a ****ed up family and how they handle the end of the world and is by no means the typical disaster movie, not that we could expect that anyway.
Kirsten Dunst plays the role of Justine, a very disturbed girl who is getting married, I never hated Dunst as I always see so many comment do but I was never really impressed with her acting either, Melancholia changes that, Dunst delivers a near perfect performance as the crazy and permanently depressed girl of the dysfunctional family.
Charlotte Gainsbourg also does brilliant in her role as Justine's sister Claire. Claire and her husband John (Kiefer Sutherland) set up the whole wedding and constantly tries to get Justine well and happy again without any success.
http://i.imgur.com/xmyPn.jpg
In the second half of the movie it completely changes, like in anti christ in a lot of ways, Justine still just wants to sleep and do nothing all day but Claire starts becoming more and more anxious with the planet approaching earth, her Husband John is planetophile and tries to calm her of her fear of the planet hitting earth, calming her doesn't seem to help much though and after a while when they realize that earth is actually going to be hit the movie portrays them dealing it in great detail.t however ends with them all accepting their faith in one way or the other and they calm down to be together in their last minutes, the movie is in the end however not about the disaster, at least not for me, it's about the few people you meet in the movie and how they deal with their depression and how they act in their most desperate times.
http://i.imgur.com/YwIWh.jpg
The special effects of the movie are nothing short of stunning, nothing ever feels dumb or fake but just beautiful, it never comes off as pretentious, it just melts together pefectly and makes perfect sense int he movie, it's never overdone and it never feels like a disaster movie. According to the new banned from Cannes, Trier himself, Dunst has demanded a hardcore porn movie after the nudity scenes of this movie, Tobey Maguire will even feature so be excited for that.

The Man from Nowhere - 8.5/10
On the recommendation of Gantz, I gave this a watch. Definitely a good movie that's worth a watch, especially if you're into Korean films. I've been watching more of them lately and they're fast becoming some of my favorites. I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as Oldboy or I Saw the Devil, but it's up close. Sad, emotional story, but it has it's share of cool action shots and fight scenes.
I've got a few more Korean films on my Netflix queue now. The Brotherhood of War, Joint Security Area, Thirst, The Good the Bad the Wierd. Ones I've watched so far that I've enjoyed include: I Saw the Devil, The Chaser, Memories of Murder, Lady Vengeance, Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, Oldboy, The Man From Nowhere. Anyone got any other recommendations?

This was just before he claimed to be a nazi and got banned from Cannes. But there isn't that much sci fi in the movie at all really, other than the planet being there, the movie itself could just as well be set in 2011 as there is nothing other than the planet to indicate something is different from the world we know it today. The first half of the movie is pretty much purely about Dunst's character and her melancholia while the second half is about the planet approaching.
No Mercy (Yongseoneun Eupda) - 8/10
OK, this movie is pretty great. It's a Korean thriller. Great performances by all the actors, especially the actor who played Professor Kang. Definitely recommended, especially if you're into the revenge and tragedy motifs in many Korean films.

Hilarious as ****! Surpasses the comedy from the first one, especially when Zach has lines. The story is pretty much the same like in the first one, except everything is re-arranged. This is simply the law of diminishing returns at work. I say that because this is just as funny as the first movie. The problem is that this movie was exactly like the first one, only in a different setting.

I don't mind them rehashing the plot when at least they address the fact that it is similar and give reasons why this one happened. By that mean they didn't just stupidly get duped into the exact same problem. Storyline is similar, details are different.
And as long as the jokes are funny on top of those changed details it's fine for me. Comedies aren't about totally unique stories. However, if they don't aim for a good story and good jokes... then the jokes BETTER be good or it just bombs.
With that said-
Kung Fu Panda 2 - 8/10 - It is a little predictable but its an animated movie made for the casual audience... and its dreamworks to boot. The important thing is Po's backstory is the center point which is a nice difference and the setup for a third movie. They keep Po's character in check even with the fact that he's becoming the ultimate kung fu warrior. And with that there were some good jokes from his character as with the last one. The cool thing that I think they upped with this one was the fight choreography. They had to up that aspect with the character advancing and it showed.
P.S. When I mentioned dreamworks I was referring to their other crappy cash-in animated flicks.

Yeah, the reasoning for why it happens is a bit different, and they build it up nicely. As for the jokes themselves, I wouldn't say it was non-stop laughter for me, but there were a few that were brilliant.
The funniest one IMO was...
...when Mr. Chao was about to tell them everything that happened the night before, and then he takes a snort and dies lol. Just great comedic timing.

I will say that was the risk Philips took with this darker, grittier take. Some parts that could've been funny in the movie could hit the audience as a serious moment. It's almost like this and Bridesmaids kind of shows how desensitized American audiences are becoming. I could start a whole discussion/thread on the this generation of comedy.
Anyway, my two favorite moments were...
When they go to the Bangkok club and find out the women have *****es, just a hilarious cringe moment (on top of Stu's part in that). And near the end when they run the boat onto shore and into the lawn, in the background was a great Allen moment when he chucks the anchor overboard.

Anyways, Supremacy is the second film in the Bourne trilogy and everything about it is great, not perfect, but great nonetheless for a movie dealing with the conspiracy theme. Good writing, action, pacing etc. Ultimatum is still my favorite Bourne movie though.

Man i would love that pill!
yeah, tell me about it..so many of my problems would go away with it..and the end of the movie
he still manages to find a way to make it permanent without taking the pill, but instead injecting himself with it, like a permanent vaccine..I mean that's just genius

Skyline
6/10 - Weird ending
Hangover 2
8/10 - Now i need to see the first one, was pretty funny.
It is an older movie but, Trick 'r Treat.
9/10
In a world full of mostlly crappy english horror movies where they are either way over the top to the point they make me laugh, or just have naked girls running around all the time, this movie had a 80-90 type feel where there was really no over the top, and everything seemed to be just right. Only reason I didn;t give it 10/10 was because there was still a few un answered questions.
Piranha 3D - 10/10
A modern masterpiece.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
9/10
Loved it, really enjoyed it. Second only to the first of the series. The 2nd, and 3rd, really did not appeal to me as much.

Zombieland 10/10
This is like the 20th time I've watched this movie. I ****ing love it. I can relate to it on so many levels, especially with Colombus and his relationship problems lol. A cult-classic. I don't think the sequel will top it, but who knows.

Guna give Hangover 2 a watch today, me and my girlfriend went on a trip about some of Thailand not long ago and we stayed at the Lebua State Tower Hotel which is where it was filmed. Anyone know if it's in the film for long because I couldn't care less about the rest of the film. I just want memories of my holiday :snicker
It's the place with this dome roof. Is it in the film much? I see it in the trailer.
