I really need to know if you can you play it without looking like an idiot with the motion sensoring? MY GF REALLY wants it but does not want to play it (as she puts it ) "like a sword" so I'm asking can you play it with a regular controller say the Gamecube one or flip the Wiimote and use it as a controller? I need help BEFORE Sunday because thats when I can get one to surprise her for Xmas.
You don't have to make huge drastic movements. Little flicks of the wrist work and you definitely don't look like an idiot doing it.
I don't think you can play it without the motion controls though, but really, it's not a big deal at all.

Well she seems to think so. I just dont wanna wait 4 hours and pay 250 bucks and shes like "I dont wanna play this game" Although she IS a HUGE Zelda fan, but when I asked her if she's upset she doesn't have it she said not really. I'm confussed. How do you play it? Please tell me. Like how do you move "Link" and interact with items? I'm assuming you swing to attack, but how are the rest of the contols?
You move Link with the nunchuck joystick. You flick the Wiimote to swing the sword or shake the nunchuck to do a spinning sword attack. You can use the pointer or Z-targetting for aiming stuff like the slingshot or boomerang. That's about it. It really only takes very small flicks to do sword attacks and I personally love the controls.
Umm if you really want to use the GC controller then wait for the GC version to come out and buy that instead.
Not sure why anyone would buy a Wii if they didn't want the motion sensing.
Yeah, do what I'm doing and get it on GC. The graphics are the exactly the same as well as the content. The Wii version is just a GC port.
The Gc Version Just Came Out Today You Con Go Get It For Her,
nice Guy
