Boxing Day
Camped out of Future Shop from 3 and the store opened at 6.
Rushed straight away to Blue Ray movies section
The Deal is "BUY 2 GET 1 FREE" .... and these are the titles i got.

i might be crazy... it did'nt cost me too much .... less than i expected... on the whole i saved like $250....if i had bought all these 24 in retail without a deal..... cant wait to watch all of em'....i already have Mission Impossible Collection and Talladega Nights to my library...i bought the MI 3 on the PS3 launch....the quality is so good....heard that Superman, kingdom of heaven and Black hawk down are amazing titles.....cant wait to watch em' all....

It's Bluray not Blue Ray,and you camped outside just to pay for movies?
I still think the Buy.com Google checkout was a better deal. I'll have to wait on shipping, but no tax, free shipping, and the movies ended up being $15 a piece.

So if they usually go for $30 and you bought 24 that's $720 and saved $250 does that mean you spent $470 on movies? dayum that's alot at once...but Blu-Ray is the ****. Happy watching!
If you would have bought them on Buy.com it would have been $360. You could have bought 6 more movies for the same price :)

camping for like 2-3 hours is nothing compared to what i camped for days for a PS3...lol.....and coming to the price...not too bad....i was working on christmas day too...i dedicated the money to bluray movies.... its like 3-4 days of my pay....i dont mind that....

and please learn to use the periods the correct way which is one at the end of a sentence and not 3+ to connect sentences.

You think Bluray and HDDVD are only going to get the latest and best movies? Just like DVD, and VHS before it, it's going to get them all... from the good, to the bad. Next gen formats are not immune to such a problem.

I'm not going to camp for a movies, I'll probably be buying them bluray movies that I wish for my collection when I get my PS3. I like to take my time and always look for a way to save alot of money. :)

You guys know there is a coupon booklet for $10 off for some bluray movies right? pick 1 of 3 per studio, 7 studios in total.
I picked up a bunch from buy.com. With google checkout 20 off 50, and the $10 rebate, it came out to about $6 per bluray shipped. Google checkout offered just ended though after a long run.

Anyways, I was thinking about hitting up this offer but a lot of the titles were more at FS then BB. I ended up buying a few at BB (HD DVD and Blu Ray).

lol....i thought everyone who has a PS3 will take this deal as a good offer, which is the reason why i camped out of the store for 2 hours. But there were already 70 people in line waiting for better deals. Everyone already knew how good campers a PS3 fan is and the store has limited number so i went straight to the Blu-Ray section. It was worth it. I have a good Blu-Ray library now. There was only one more guy shopping for Blu-Ray along with me, he also bought some HD-DVDs as well.
I'm up to 22 Blu-Ray movies and 27 HD-DVD's.
I'm a BIG movie freak. But I refuse to buy comedies and romance flicks in HD until the price comes down somewhat. The jokes don't get any funnier in HD. But on a good sci-fi, action, or horror movie, I'm all about the improved PQ and SQ.
I took advantage of the Buy.com Google checkout deal too.
Just for the record, I didn't buy that half-a$$ wannabe HD-DVD 360 addon, I bought a standalone Toshiba HD-A2. If I can't get the best audio available, I'm not interested, so no HDMI means I pass.

Um...the same ones that are out on the regular DVD format?! I don't follow. Most of the current new releases are the same as regular and there are a ton of older titles...
I bought Kingdom of Heaven on BD which looks stunning, I have yet to acquire Black Hawk Down. Slowly but surely Ill get the movies I want. Also need to look into that buy.com deal, not sure how much longer that will be around.

I bought the Kingdom of Heaven BD today, but I just found out it's for the american region. And I live in Europe so I won't be able to play it on my European PS3, I guess I will have to trade it in tommorow.

I perfer Wal-Mart prices. They are cheaper on the newer titles. Got Transporter for 34 when FS has it for 39. You should also price shop at Best Buy too, I got Underworld at 32. The Buy.com deal seems nice.

i like kate beckinsale too...but i did'nt like the movie Underworld ...so i just did'nt get it.....and for most of the movies....Best Buy has the best prices...compared to Future Shop...just compare the prices that are listed on the website....
as the deal is no longer ther i would suggest to buy the Blu ray movies from Best Buy....might as well save more.....

Welcome to Blu-Ray (yeah I use a capital R, but I'm allowed).
I had Kingdom of Heaven on BD, but I found out it was for the American market. So I can't play it out here, why do stores even sell American BDs here in Europe??
Now I changed it for Tears of the Sun, maybe not a really good movie, but it's a start! :)
Tears of the Sun gets alot of mixed reviews as far as the movie itself goes. I thought it had a pretty good story, I really enjoyed it. I guess I'm a Bruce Willis fan, and I've always thought Monica Bellucci was one of the most beautiful women in the world.
I've heard LXG is pretty cool on Blu-Ray can you obtain that in Europe?

Ah, yeah that threw me off. League is one of the better titles on Blu-Ray for picture quality, I didn't really like the movie that much so I only rented it, but it would be a decent movie to show off your new Blu-Ray player. Availability in Europe? Can't help ya there, sorry.
