PS3 Store Lacking?

One of the dissapointments with the PS3 I find is the Sony Store, not the content because there are a few demos and some trailers, which in this very early stage of the release is still nice to see there (im sure it will expand in the future). I mean the actual way it is presented.

I really hope Sony cleans up the Sony Store (it looks really crappy in my opinion, if you're going to make it look like a webpage, at least style it in the Sony way we all love) and adds some major media download features, I recall at E3 last year they were boasting you'd be able to download music videos and movies and music straight to the PS3, I have yet to even hear anything else regarding this.

I can't find anywhere, in any news, discussion, or press release where Sony has announced any kind of large media download center for the PS3 (recently they annouced one for the PSP, through a computer).

I'm sure they will add these kinds of changes and features in the future, perhaps a PS3 portal to their new "Connect" store, but for now im still waiting to hear anything at all.

IMO I think you answered your concerns in your own post. Sony said that this would be a growing aspect of the PS3 functionality. Give it a little more time for development and I’m sure this will look very different in a couple months from now considering that it went live only about six weeks ago.;)

I like how it is actually. I like it a lot better then the 360 Market Place. Its a lot nicer and simply laid out. Not hard to find anything. Although it is missing third party games, which I am sure is on the way.

The PlayStation Store will change once in game stores start to become available. I'm not sure if this will be apart of any launch titles or games that start coming out in March and so.

Of course its going to lack content it hasnt been up for that long. I know your going to say look at XBL its been up way longer. Give it time man in the next few months or so more content should be coming.
