will the games on the new ps2 work on old ps2
I've told you once already, make a thread dedicated to your questions concerning the PS2. I'll tell you what, I'll save you the trouble and make the thread for you since Im wasting my time trying to get you to do it yourself.

Got this email today from AM of theseis:
Dear Dusty,
First I want to apologize for getting to this mail now but I was
traveling in the states till June and returned to a huge mountain of
work here in Athens. Am slowly doing all the follow-up from E3 bit by
bit in between all the other minutia that running a company involves.
I would love to be able to assist you in any way possible and give you
any information that you may need, however we are looking at a PC and
XBox 360 release for now. the costs involved to develop something for
PS3 are way to high for us at this moment. If Sony were to offer us
assistance in producing a PS3 version we would be more than happy to
oblige! haha. Anyway if you are still interested in receiving any info
on "Theseis" I would be more than happy to send you whatever I have.
In the meantime, hope that you have a great summer!

Put the text layer on top and give it an outerglow instead of a stroke. Looks excellent though, I really dig that screen. Nice choice.
EDIT: Remove the bevel.

Articles actually has something to do with PS3Land. If we wanted to know about your personal lives, we would have asked.
I say this only because you're coming across as rather immature. I merely suggested alternative to using the forum to discuss personal things like jobs.
I apologise if I sound hostile, but I hope you understand that there is a big difference between discussing articles for PS3Land, and asking each other about personal situations in a forum dedicated to PS3Land.
On to more important things, I will get the feature image live later (can't from school).
I can't use the second one because it has a spelling mistake (it's spelt "develop"). But the first one looks fantastic :)
If possible, and only if it's a quick job, could you stick in an extra 'L' to make it "cancelled" - I know it can be spelt both ways, but the article is already live (and viewed) with it spelt with 2 Ls. Don't worry if it's a pain. It'll be about 4 hrs before I can get it live.
Well I would except I am at work all day today and I dont get home for another 8 hrs. Actually I already did up our next feature article anyway so you wont have to use this.
I did an article on:
- Fantasy Labs
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII new images
- Final Fantasy Versus XIII game preview
- and ....Ithink that was it. I am almost done with that "top 10" editorial although I could use lots of editing and more input and help on it. The author can go as PS3land.com since I want everyones input.
Congrats everyone. This article is the most viewed on GameTab, and Track7 will probably get a publisher because of us. :)

First I would like to point out that I DO NOT appreciate the article

1. we did not contact you to give you this information but rather were

2. we never began developing the game for PS3 in order to cancel
development. We just made a strategic decision to not move ahead
because we deemed it not probable at this time.

How could you all go ahead and write what you did on the site before I
even got a chance to respond to the mail below asking for information
that I received this morning? Guess you really couldn't "wait to hear"
from me... I will appreciate it greatly if you please look into this
matter as soon as possible.

Just make an UPDATE thing at the bottom of the news break.
Good news. Kotaku has now quoted our news break. We've been quoted by just about every major independant gaming website.

Holy crap, what a disaster.
I've updated it anyway...meh, what can you do? It's happened to other sites before, we just have to move on from this and be more careful next time.
(I remember IGN creating an article on how Assassin's Creed was running on an Xbox 360. They pulled the article within a day after GameSpot confirmed it was running on a PC :P )

Post an article about how we are srry and pull the other one off.
A lot of opinions haven't changed since the response from Track7. In reality, nothing has changhed regarding whether they were developing for the PS3 or not. They still aren't developing for the PS3 because of cost, not because "it isn't probable".
I guess we edited it...Just post up a new article now to move us on now.

Yeah I didn't want to post the whole email because we seem to have rubbed track7 the wrong way already. We don't want to worsen the situation (even though, as Justin rightly says, we haven't been bashed as yet).
Some of the email implies a lack of professionalism, which is certainly not true. If a Managing Director says something like that to a news site and doesn't expect them to make something of it, they shouldn't be a managing director.

Oh so what. It's too late now, and it just looks bad to pull an article and replace it with an email we were sent with confidence.
Wow! I'm not able to get online for a week and this is what happens... cool ;) We did everything correctly here guys, so don't worry. In future, if a company publicly calls us erroneous then I might condone posting the email. In this case, it's in the past. Lets move on!
