View Full Version : I'm done with Wii
Call me whatever you want, and I'm calling quit on my Wii. I've tried Wii Sport and Zelda, and this supposed-can't-be-any-better-than-this setup is simply sore in my eyes. I can't overcome the low rez graphics... I still wish the best things for Nintendo for their gutty move, but not my cup of tea. Anyway, I'm thinking of dumping my Wii which has been in service for about a month and not that much has been used along with my Zelda, and Wii Sport DVD case that I bought from eBay, since the Wii Sport comes in paper slip. If you're interested in, please PM me. I'll be happy if I can just cover the cost of the unit plus whatever the paypal fee will be.
[update] I forgot to mention that I have a Wii component cable, also.

ANyways its your choice......go sell it to someone and make them happy :)
Component Cables....might help, but if your all about graphics inplace of just good old fun, then the Wii might not be the console for you

Yes, as bad as it sounds to some, that's where it came down to. I'm eyeing on 360 with Gears and Lost Planet for my HD fix.
Dude, PS3 and Motorstorm, with resistance as a back-up. Have you played the demo, its so addicting. Just throwing in another option, not saying the 360 isn't the right choice.

There's the problem; I'm only considering it at the moment. My roomy's probably going to check out WarioWare: Smooth Moves tomorrow, and unless that lights up my world I'm probably done with it.

Good job on ridding yourself of the Wii. It's really wasn't worth what you paid, was it? Get a PS3 dude. You'll be happier in the long run if you get it over an Xbox360, unless of course you will be buying Halo3...that's all Xbots seem to need for the 360 to be a success...lol. Get a PS3 w/ MGS4, R:FoM, Killzone PS3, Socom PS3, Ace Combat PS3, Silent Hill 5, RE5 (Multiplatform, but who cares) and so many other great games. The PS3's game library may not hold up well when compared to Xbox's right now, but that'll change by year's end.
For what it's worth, Smooth Moves has been good competition for Burning Crusade. Given that I'm sufficiently into Warcrack to have two accounts pretty much just so I can do faction trades and enchant my own EQ, I think it's safe to say that this is an accomplishment.
If you're going to sell it, sell it now. But this forum is not a marketplace. Locked.
