Yea the clues are out there. The game is set in the 60's which would make Solid snake 70+ years old in MGS2 :!: Snake is a genetic clone of Big Boss a.k.a Saladin, so they would look the same. The recent trailer shows snake missing his right eye - Big Boss lost his in combat. Hideo Kojima also always avoids confirming that the person whose codename is "Snake" is actually snake. :roll: :wink:

yeah good point i think Hideo Kojima has done a really good job of this one not saying he never with the other two but i think the third will be better as the thirds are always better in some cases that is

It's a twist to make you buy it really and to find out if your right. That and the gameplay I can't see much other reason to buy it, unless you are a big MG Solid Fan ofcoarse.

No I am but only to a certain extent. I was only a fan of it while I was interestead in the game or storyline but I am a bit sick of it now. Maybe I will change when the next game comes out.

I'm probably going to buy this game but I don't particularly look forward to it yet if you know what I mean. It's quite a late release date isn't it? When is it?

Rumour has it, that it may even slip onto PS3! Not quite as crazy as it sounds - it happened to MGS2. The sequel to the PSone classic was originally developed for the PSone, but as soon as the PS2 developer’s kit arrived at Konami HQ the team thought "let’s put it onto PS2", and that’s where we are today. :wink:

If any of you read PSM. They had an article and they had all this other stuff explaining how that in MGS3 the guy their is really BIG BOSS. It show a picture with him only having 1 eye, how if that was snake he would be about 60 in MGS, and also one of the letters that they got from the creator of the game Hideo Kojima put only the letters BIG BOSS in caps.

lol, what a cool idea! It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Hideo Kojima - the head of MGS, put that into the game. The MGS team certainly have a funny sense of humour like having Hal Emmerich wet himself in MGS and using the sound enhancer in MGS2 to eves drop the funny things like the guy on the toilet with diarrhoea etc. :wink:

Yea I had loads of fun doing that! I thought the C4 was an excellent addition to the game, especially laying 99 units of the stuff and practically causing a thermo-nuclear explosion! :)
