We have so many news about the winning Blu-Ray over HD-DVD.

With PS3 released Blu-Ray is more way too powerfull than X360 with HD-DVD is just for movies.

1 million player (PS3) vs 92K HD-DVD add-on (x360)

Some movies are very good at Blu-Ray over HD-DVD even using same codec.

At first month 2007, we have to seen so many news Blu-Ray will win at the end. Also the sales for Blu-Ray Movies are going up (thx to PS3 and Electronic Industry)

We know that HD-DVD over Blu-Ray at 2006, but at 2007 maybe this year for PS3 and Blu-Ray. With PS3 will launch at EU region and there will be many Blu-Ray player (PS3).

With Sony Pictures and Disney are behind the scene for key of Blu-Ray success and for Electronic industry Sony and Samsung are behind the scene.

As for 2007 are HD-DVD will dying ??? and 2008 HD-DVD will dead ??

Blu-Ray is taking a surprisingly early pull ahead. I honestly have no idea what to make of it.

They dont have so good movies, check here: http://www.weinsteinco.com/

The weird thing is, Weinstein is owned by MGM, which DO supports BluRay (and its exculsive i think), yet Weinstein is HD-DVD exclusive ???

I happen to like quite a few Weinstein movies, so saying they don't have good movies is simply an opinion, because I think they have some great movies! I mean I can't wait for movies like:

Hannibal Rising
Fanboys
Grindhouse
Breaking and Entering
DOA: Dead or Alive
School For Scoundrels

Then current movies like:
Lucky Number Slevin
Pulse
Clerks 2
Scary Movie 4

The weird thing is, Weinstein is owned by MGM, which DO supports BluRay (and its exculsive i think), yet Weinstein is HD-DVD exclusive ???

I also find that a bid odd, but for now at least Weinstein has stated they are supporting HD DVD exclusively.

Having Disney is absolutly HUGE.

Most people's children watch Disney movies. Not to mention, adults still like them. If Disney released their entire library of titles on Blu-Ray, watch out HD DVD.

I don't know, did anyone really suffer when Betamax fell through...not really. Its weird that you guys are like cheering for a side when it has little to do with you. I mean, if Blu-Ray "wins", will it sell more PS3s, maybe a few more, but by that time whos to say there won't be a cheap"er" Blu-Ray player on the market. Whos to say that MS won't just release their own Blu-Ray player, and so on and so on.

HD-DVD wins, Blu-Ray wins...does it really matter. 90% of people don't own HDTVs to begin with (if you have an SDTV and you're playing Blu-Ray movies on your PS3 you are an idiot...plain and simple), of those 10% even a smaller percent owns an HD player, let alone a PS3.

Sure, there will be a "winner" at some point, but some of you guys see it happening tomorrow or next week. Fact remains, DVD...yes, DVD, is still king, and Blu-Ray/HD-DVD isn't dethrowning it any time soon.

Remember...

Price > Quality

Remember...

Price > Quality

Wow, I couldn't disagree with you more. I would MUCH rather pay more for something of better quality.

It's like comparing a Kia to a Honda, I'd much rather pay more for the Honda simply because of the better quality. I also don't mind paying more for HD DVD and Blu-ray movies since they are much better quality.

one, no one cares about what one person thinks, you don't decide who wins the format "war". It doesn't take a genious to see that price always wins over quality...

Its why parents buy their teens Hondas over Volvos...

I could go on and on, but anyone with half a brain understands simple economics lol
