ok i have a wireless super g 108 mbps netgear router and i'ev been reading forums about how to fix the download speed but i cant figure anything out im confused on what there saying it take me forever to download a demo or movie tralier i need help really bad

like 2-3hours for demos i called sony and they said it was my modem cause i have cable

i have the same problem at my moms(comcast) and at my dads(verizon)
Dude, it's not your modem, cable, router or anything. PSN is just super slow downloading things wireless. It does everything else fine wireless expect downloads. It takes me like a minute for 3 MB.

hmmm....... my demos do not take thaat long.... mine only take like an hour and a half.... which is still long..... if u have it on wired connection why dont u try a wireless connection..... i actually prefer my wireless over wired.. it seems faster to me

I don't understand that. It's slow because you have cable internet? Someone needs to get fired :suspect:
It takes me about 1.5-2 hours to download a demo on my cable connection over wifi. Try downloading at off-peak times such as late at night or early in the morning. I've had significantly better speeds at these times.

^--what softtack said. But what was weird for me was the download speeds of 2 similarily sized files from the US and Canadian stores...the US store's download was faster :(
