go check it out.. its pretty cool.. definitely looks better then the PC website version.. though that might be because my PC sucks and the game sucks/looks bad on my PC lol. im looking forward to this title for some odd reason.. but i hope they have a demo of it too, i can see the demo being a short version of the full game with limited things to eat up, so far every Ps store arcade game has come with a demo(blast factor, lemmings, etc..)

Isn't there supposed to be like an official trailer released on the PS Store soon?.... they said end of Jan early Feb, so can anyone check and see?

yup.. they said a trailer should be out soon... but soon for them could be in a month lol.. i would bet any money that that trailer at gametrailers.com is going to be the trailer that PS3 owners can download on the PSstore.

I'd have to play the demo first to see if I would be interested in it. So far, no.

I want a demo before I decide to buy, and not a stupid flash game demo either!

It's the same thing. The game will be based off that flash game, it'll be (more or less) the same experience. If you're not impressed by the flash version, then don't hold your breath for the ps3 one. It's just a minigame, after all.

the PS3 version will be slightly better i think.. the graphics seem to look alittle better and best of all it'll be in HD.

heres the official website http://www.us.playstation.com/flOw/

-tip the sixaxis controller to move
-play as one of 5 creatures, each in a unique environment
-full HD 1080p
-5.1 surround sound
-up to four players can play together

the PS3 version also seems to have "Special Actions"(special moves/abilities) that i never seen or been able to do in the flash crappy version.

I would like to try out the demo too however it'll be weird seeing a demo in the first place.. i mean what would happen? you can only evolve so far? can only go down so deep? maybe a time limit restraint.. i dont know. im also curious as to how much the full version will cost($9.99!!?? $4.99 :)) or hell, maybe the full game will be just free since after all it is based off a flash game and everybody thats anybody can easily play the full game for free off of there website http://intihuatani.usc.edu/cloud/flowing/

I think the whole point to get it on a console to me would to make money off of it I would think.

but yeah, if ther WAS a demo, then I'd say it would only be a timed demo.

I found that the flash game wasn't a reflection of the whole game. It took to long between eating organizms, just to give you a sense of the game.

Even the demo looked like more fun then polaying the flash game, plus there was more to it already!

Old? Coming out Feb. 22.

Soothing and seductive, flOw draws gamers into the evolution of a simple aquatic creature journeying through the surreal abyss. With an embedded design of DDA (dynamic difficulty adjustment), players with differing skill levels can intuitively adjust their game experience and enjoy playing at their own pace. Initially a MFA (Master of Fine Arts) thesis, flOw is a game about piloting an aquatic organism through a surreal biosphere where players consume other organisms, evolve, and advance their organisms into the abyss.

i downloaded the trailer last night because of hearing people talk about it. i have never heard of the game prior to this. i have to say it is very inovative and cool! looks like it'll be alot of fun and seems to me the game play will never be the same twice as it looks like organism and what not always change. looks to be sweet!

If you mean you won't see the exact same movements twice, you are probably right, but the game does not "evolve" like you think. At heart, it's a lot like the old game of "snake", where the more you eat, the larger/longer you get.

I remember playing Fl0w over the net and being completely mesmerized by the game. It's great example that simplisity does work, I found this highly addictive. But I do agree with Graham that it's like a grandiose version of snake, just far prettier.

i guess we can come to the conclusion that there are those people that have played the crappy flash version and either love it or hate it LOL.. and then you have those who want to try a demo of the PS3 version.

from watching that trailer on the PS3(on a nice HDTV) i am jaw dropped.. it looks 100x times better then the dumb flash PC version... the graphics have been bumped up alot with more effects and particles and stuff.. the animation has also beened bumped up from the looks of it.. now i REALLY cant wait to try this game out.. im 75% that im going to buy this game for the PS3.. its very different and yes it might be boring but i can also see it being addicting lol.

hmm i was hoping for things not being the same and changing everytime. such as the particle or organisms and what not never appear the same places everytime. not having a pattern, like saying "oh yea, the purple spikey thing is coming in the top right corner!"

should be cool anyways.
