Blast Factor is totally worth the money. Great game to show off your HDTV's and surround sound. This'll keep me busy until flOw comes out. Then ill be showing off that game on my TV and surround sound :P

BF's a ton of fun, but I'd give GripShift a edge in funness once you take it online (which is freaking awesome, especially playing "championships" vs other people.)

EDIT: My bro and I just got the 3rd highest score on the game. It's great being one of the first people to download it...we got the 3rd highest score with only 1.5 million points. ;)

Well, guess it's not online. Ah well, it's not that big of a deal. $2.99's a decent price for the add-on anyways.

The multiplayer pack $2.99, but you have to buy the full game first, which is $7.99.

I'm actually thinking about buying this tonight. I liked the demo; the music that plays while you're in the XMB is pretty cool, too.

What's does the online/multiplayer mod do?

Goodfella

IMO I never played it when I first d'ld it. I felt it was a waste of money until the multiplayer pack came out, now it's all kinds of fun with co-op.
To Supremesteve: It allows you to play co-op offline, and online scoreboard.

Oh man..

If the add-on featured online co-op i wouldnt even have hesitated about getting it for one second, that's just a shame.

I can just see it now, "For just 1.99 get online co-op in Blast Factor."

I wish GripShift had multiplay. :(

GripShift has online multiplayer... just not the demo.

But yea I agree I see a $1.99 co-op expansion.

Ay, indeed it does. I failed to mention "offline" (and to spell multiplayer correctly).

I'd like to play GripShift with three other people at home, too instead of only being able to play it online. (Also, is anyone ever online anymore? I was able to play with a couple of people when it first came out [it was freaking great!], but since no one's on even when I create and wait 30 minutes for people to join.)

Im thinking of buying this but questioning the feuters.

1 Is it multyplayer online? Like can i get a buddy to play it with me or is it just offline?

2 The 150 percent faster, is that just having everything move too fast or does it make the cutscenes where the thing explodes go away? Like load time?

I think I will buy this soon. And can someone please answer Soldier Ones's questions? I am wondering the same damn thing.

Is there anyway to save in Co-op so we can start from the last Cell/specimen?

1. Multi-player is offline(2-4 player) but has online leaderboards.

2. Speed options affect the rate you shoot, possibly also the germs or whatever they are, but def, the rate you shoot. I haven't noticed any loading times, everything is pretty quick.

Multi-player mode also offers a 2-4 player grudge match where there are a bunch of enemies spawning non-stop and last man standing wins.
This is pretty fun especially if you do the wave using the SIXAXIS tilt and send whordes of enemies towards the other players.

There's 7 species, why would you want to save it? It really shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to beat the whole game in Co-Op.

Of course getting a high score is a different story.
