What i would like to see is people stop posting threads from neogaf. Its kinda boring to come here and see the exact same thread copied and pasted from there.

Now now... NeoGAF is really great for news... you'd be surprised how fast they churn up info... now, if it's already posted here, then yeah, scrap it... but if not, bring it up...
There's a bunch of crazy fun people over there... you have your typical fanboy's over there, and very very elaborate stealth trolls, but they're all fanatics of games... and there's a lot of DEVS/REPS on there too... you get some good info with some fun laughes as well...
i don't visit neogaf anymore and I rarely even bother going through the pages at AVS these days.. I like seeing everything here in one place and I look forward to it. So I say keep it up, this is a BR sub-forum.. as long as it's BR related I'm content.

How about you get a life and stop complaining, because some people actually have lives and dont have time to search every forum on the net. So they like to come here and get all there Blu Ray/PS3 news in the one place, After all this IS the Blu Ray discussion forum so why shouldn't Blu Ray related news be posted here.
I have an idea, Why dont you just not read the threads with the same or a similar title to the one you read elsewhere? That way your not reading the sam thing twice and people who haven't seen the story can read it. So please stop posting threads that have nothing to do with Blu Ray in the Blu Ray discussion board.

I agree with above post! I dont have time to go on different forums, so i have a lot of faith in you guys here to bring the best and latest news despite where its from. That's what I love so much about this forum. you guys are very quick with the new news and rumors.

To post a thread over here, you dont have to actually copy and paste the exact same text like if it were your own, and dont even give credit to the original source. Now, quoting the message and mentioning the source is a whole different matter.
Over here, some people directly copy the thread, and dont even put it on quotes.

not for nothin but just because you visit another forum that has similar information.... whos to say everyone here visits those forums as well? i for one dont and i mainly come here for my reads so i appreciate all the news that can be posted. forums are meant to spread information so if you visit more than one idk how exactly youd expect there to be no commonality between them.
as already stated by others i do also feel that atleast a quote or reference to the original source is necessary. its a little cheesy to pretend like you came up with the info yourself
