That the Revolution is more of a compliment to the "power consoles". If I had a Revolution, I would want a X360, PS3 (or both) to just play a "normal" game. I can't see someone owning only a Rev that's for sure. What do you guys think?

First off, we don’t know yet how powerful the Revolution is yet. So the Revolution could still possibly be a “power console”. Also keep in mind that Nintendo intended for the Revolution to appeal to people who were never gamers, and people who got board of traditional games. I think these types of people may only consider a Revolution. Don’t forget that there will also be a cradle/shell attachment that will go around the Revolution controller to allow for more traditional controls.

Im going to buy a ps3, but after seeing what the revolution can do, im thinking about picking it up. It would be cool to play games in a different way than normal.
Heh, my whole game-plan (pardon the pun) is that I will have a Rev no matter what and I want to see which "powerhouse" console is the most desirable. I'm leaning very heavily towards the PS3 right now. As long as it is $500 or below. Otherwise I will be swinging my controller and riding the Revolution Feel Good wave through this generation while watching the big titans Sony and MS pummel each other into the ground.
I say good, they weren't gaming companies anyways. Perhaps we'll go back to Nintendo, Sega, and Atari one day.. Who knows
Id much rather an xbox 360 or a ps3 then a Revolution for sure.

At the moment i hope i'll be able to get both a Rev and a Ps3 but hey that could easily change depending on more information and what not.... 8)

Smitty and I agree. Thats what Im getting also. For sure. The Xbox 360 still doesn't appeal to me. Gears of War I have no intrest in.
I am getting a revolution for sure. I can't wait to play Metroid Prime with these new controls. I Love Nintendo even more. I never once thought that the Gamecube was a mistake by Nintendo.

That would be hilarious! Nintendo just walks onto the battlefield MS and Sony on their last breath. Nintendo says, "I guess I win!?" Unlikely but a funny thought.

I guess having Nintendo and Sega is remotely possible, but I think Atari is done for the count in terms of consoles.

ya i might reconsider instead of buying 360 just buy revolution and it would be cheaper and take all that money i saved and buy an extra game or 2 for ps3 or rev. i think this time REVolution is going to be my second console, but it would take some good games and please dont give me mario baseball :lol:

I think Nintendo helped Sony out this generation. I've heard a lot of people at my school saying they aren't getting a 360 anymore. Now they are getting a revolution and a PS3. I think, it might just happen, Nintendo could be one of the Top2 contenders. I really doubt it. I would love to see Nintendo Get back into the top 2 for the consoles wars. It would really show that this new controller has a lot to offer.

Hmm just a thought if it did take off do you think Sony or Microsoft could add it as a addon in a couple of years time?
Kinda like a second/replacment controller with maybe a unit near the TV that translats the info and sends it back to the PS3/360
Hmm maybe they could both copy it; without having to bring out new consolles :?
