View Full Version : Prince Halftime Show better than Superbowl itself?

Not to say that the game wasn't good. It was pretty awesome for the most part but Prince, IMO, was the best performer at the game. That was the first time in a few years that I haven't just turned the channel when the Halftime show came on. I really wanted to see Prince perform and damnit he stole the show. Even though a few songs he performed weren't his, he performance and showmanship on the stage (which was shped like the symbol he used to use for his name) was a sight to see. From the crazy aqua blue suit he was wearing to the awesome guitar solo's which instantly made me reminisce of Jimmy Hendrix, his whole performance was one that eclisped the game itself. It was truly great to watch. How do you guys feel about it?

Im glad Im not alone on this one! His performance was great, which is why he was the highest paid performer last year.
Plus, the Superbowl was boring after the half. It was just the Peyton Manning show from there on out. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the Colts won, but the Bears didn't even put up a fight to make it the least bit entertaining.
Oh why did Jimi Hendrix have to die? :cry:

I think the best part was it rained the whole time and Prince didn't miss a step. Here's what a blogger had to say about it:
A part of me wonders if he [Prince] didn't somehow create last night's torrential downpour himself just to give us the moving visual of a stadium bathed in purple light and soaked to the bone as he finished "Purple Rain" without a hair out of place.
Prince suxed. why did they get this loser for the superbowl lol

Prince sucks plain and simple . Doesnt matter how many cd's he sells or how much merchandise he sell he sucks and there are far too many crazies out that think he is good. In this case SB>>>>Prince
