a couple of weeks ago CNET wrote an article for 2007 Tech Prediction.

One of the prediction is that blu-ray will be the eventual winner in format war. What happened next is that HD-DVD cheerleaders, as what CNET called them, wrote back with hatred emails, .....

Wow, I knew there were console Fanboys/girls, but I never thought there would be such an uproar towards one guy for predicting something. Guess there is a fanboy for everything.

Oh, believe me, AVS forums crawl with Microbots. I haven't posted in there in forever due to the HD-DVD puppets there.

He made a really good point about the movie The Departed. If that is being released on both format then the sales of it will be a good indicator of how well either format is doing at the present time. Its a great movie too :)

His responses were quite amusing; its funny to see people tie the race between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray so closely to that of the Xbox360 and Blu-Ray. If you own an Xbox you have got to hate Blu-Ray because its used on the PS3.

haha its the truth... 360 has their hd-dvd, ps3 has their blu-ray... people who have both... dont complain cuz they have money to spend (i have both!)
I do like blu-ray better.. iono why, i just like more movies on blu-ray.
