the problem I see with live concerts is that they always look noisy and/or blurry. Is this done with an HD camera or something?

Those screens look great, I just wish it was someone that I liked enough to own thier concert on Blu-ray!

I would buy Red Hot Chilie Peppers!

I quite like Nine Inch Nails but I do find them hit and miss. Trent Reznor is a great performer though so this would probably be a good purchase. Hopefuly more bands will follow suit.

Now if only Tool could release tour footage on Blu-ray I'd be a happy man.

They probably will eventually.... this disc is going to be so amazing, I truly believe it will be hailed as one of the best looking Blu-ray or HD DVD discs for quite some time. Their DVD release years ago for the Fragile tour was a top quality disc.

It actually comes out on the 27th not the 17th, but that was probably just a typo. Trust me I know first hand how awesome this Blu-Ray is going to be. I went to the show at the DeltaPlex in Grand Rapids, MI in there winter part of the tour and then to DTE in the summer part of the tour. Oh and I've already pre-ordered it sinc I made my way to St. Andrews Hall in Detroit to one of the screening parties. It was amazing, I got to sit on a catwalk overlooking the screen, and god was it loud. Oh and the free litho is alright, I actually like the posters that were hanging around St. Andrews better. It's a good thing I stole a couple haha.

Oh and you'll get your wish soon enough because Tool plans on releasing some live footage of there tours that they're on right now. Oh plus NIN does have a new album coming out on April 17th, so everyone pick it up. Haha, sorry if it sounds like I'm really pushing these 2 bands, they just happen to be my absolute favorites.

Yeah the 27th sorry..... oh well, I got to see them 3 times on their tour, once in the summer and 2 times in the winter... it was mind blowing. I pre ordered mine through their site, so ill be getting a litho.

I would be happy if tool would release anything on dvd. **** its been a year since they dropped 10,000 days and we still have no video's. They are weird about what they release. I don't understand why you wouldn't release somthing that would sell millions.

Im not a tool fan at all, I remember when they first broke it out about 8 years ago... Just never liked them. I know a lot of NIN fans are big Tool fans though.

Yea, Tool is def my first love, Nine Inch Nails is second. You can't deny the genius of Maynard James Keenan.

Cant Wait for this release.
Loved all Trent's work.
The best Live band concert movie I've seen is
Muse : Hullabaloo Live At LeZenith
followed by Prodigy Their Law.
These both have excellent sound and video footage of live gigs,
with high quality music videos.
Hopefully "Beside You in Time" sets the standard for Bands releasing content on Blu-ray. "Advanced interactive menus, in-feature pop-up menus"
Yeh this has to be the ultimate music release until the follow up!

Yes this while be the greatest release of all time for now, for a music dvd/hd dvd/blu-ray. I hate U2, but besides that, I heard that their live HD DVD BLOWS..... in quality..... I guess it just blows. Its ranked really low on the tier list over at AVS forums. I think this release is special and will really show.

I'm not into NIN, more of a Tool fan myself.

I'm also into alot more obscure bands though. There is some great talent out there if you look for it.
