The Nintendo Revolution controller: not a sex toy Or maybe they can use it for internal investigation :lol:
Slashdong reports on the puzzling frequency with which gamers seem to want to believe that Nintendo’s newly unveiled Revolution controller is some kind of sex toy. They write, “I don’t remember anyone shoving TV remotes up their ass anytime in the last 40 or so years we’ve had them, so why start now, just because it vibrates?”
Good question. Why start now? Well, to somewhat answer the question, it seems that Nintendo’s new controller has really turned gamers on to the possibilities of nonstandard game controls. Gamers and game developers have been asked by Nintendo to think outside of the box about new games and new game actions that this controller could enable, and of course like the dirty gits we are, our thoughts immediately turned seamy.

Viva la Revolution!A huge joke my friend, I was hoping it was true to be a joke and nothing more. sadly this did not happen. all the mocks look better but maybe nintendo have something here for us. The video they had give me a lot of idea of what they can do with games. there really trying to get us in to the games. I not sure if it's a good or bad things.
The power of the nintendo here is to make fun. there goal as we know it is to make fun and loveing games. if this new controller can do that then I give it a try. I won't buy it when it first comes out. I wait for some pirce drops. knowing nintendo from there past that won't take long.

Personally i think that the REVO controller is nothin but a piece if crap cuz u can't play with the controller for long i mean cmon how long are you gonna throw punches while sittin at ur couch or hack and slash somethin it will get tiring after an hour of play to say the least.I mean with a controller like this u can't play fast games!!!!!!

I know some of my friends that are fat won't buy this because they might burn some fat of there body. REVO is not going to be for lazy people. and I know people who love videogames will enjoy this. but you can't be lazy here. get real.

Well who do u think u are a machoman or somethin im nnot tryin to start a fight here but before u speak jst think about it im just talkin generally i ain't talkin about any fat guy over here nor am i fat but just tell me one thing for how long can u keep hackin n slashin i don't think ur gonna do it for more than 2 hours.It might be good in the first days cuz every one's excited about their first console but after sometime it WILL become borin and tiring.But with a joystiq u can play for hours and u'll never get bored.

I never said you was fat. just saying alot of fat people are not going to like that. as for be a machoman I'm in good sharp to play the Revo for a long period of time. I not fat dood. But I do have a lot of cuts over my body. ( I go to the gym and work that's how I get them.)

Maybe Nintendo will make a minigame where you will have to bench press the Revolution controller just to make fun of people who dont think they can handle it.

OK... I see way too many people getting the wrong idea about how to play with the Revolution controller...
According to people that HAVE actually tried it... it doesn't require as much exagerated movement as the Revolution commercial might suggest.

The video is a short roundtable descussion, with a guy that Actually got to play with the controller! Not much new info is talked about, but the video does at least provide a little insight to how we will play a Revolution game.
In reality, I see a some of the more gimmiky minigames that are bound to come out in the begining, will use exagerated movements... BUT I would bet that the majority of average games for the Rev will just use simple movements like a twitch to the right or left to signal in game actions.

That is so wrong my friend! :lol: But yes, I think there are some crazy enough Japanese companies who would actually be willing to sell a product that gives the results a certain category of people will want. I think it is terrible however to do something like this, or even think about something like that.
Nintendo used to own a love-motel back before they made videogames.
Just figured I'd throw that into the mix for all the people thinking Nintendo is a "kiddie company". :lol:
